Thanks for those nodes OhShBit ! They should be added to the OP in a list with the format  "addnode=x.x.x.x:port" so that people can copy/paste

it into their chaincoin.conf  file.

I will take care of typing the list, but I can't edit this thread's OP, so that is up to someone who can moderate/edit this thread

Code:
addnode=62.202.6.11:49173
addnode=50.135.57.124:52897
addnode=109.205.244.146:57041
addnode=82.138.34.183:56630
addnode=162.243.84.210:11994
addnode=80.143.75.227:51664
addnode=118.123.116.219:59882
addnode=91.199.10.2:11994
addnode=50.197.11.193:60963
addnode=146.185.148.114:38835
addnode=89.177.88.251:38865
addnode=62.210.162.235:11994

Anyways, I really like Chaincoin, and it seems there is a handful of people here in the community who also want to see it survive and thrive.

If there is a group for Chaincoin development, PM me - I would like to join the conversation on Skype/IRC/whatever.

Also, I have uploaded the Windows binaries for the Chaincoin GPU miner (chaincoin-sgminer) to several places for the good of the community:

Windows binaries for the Chaincoin GPU miner

MEGA:  https://mega.co.nz/#!w0VWkBbZ!PWyCPnCjIuvm6pH8Ljt-hXvllg4npedd0gfwKGXkL-E

Dropbox: https://www.dropbox.com/s/gjjoslh6kgmta85/Chaincoin%20SGMINER.zip

I have included a readme file in the package with helpful information, and I also put example solo and pool mining .bat files in the package to help you get started if needed.

Go get yourself some Chaincoins !!!  Smiley

P.S. - Also thinking about helping fund a Chaincoin faucet, game website, and giveaway. Let me know if you want to help make this happen.

Cheers

You're welcome, Michael.  Although, It was miningcrew who provided the nodes. I just asked for them:)  I'll see what I can do about updating the ANN with the node list. I don't edit or anything. So far it has just been a few of us PMing each other. There was mention of organizing something in IRC or something, but I'll have to check on it again. I'll PM you here in a bit with some of the ideas that have been tossed around so far.

Thanks again!

Been trying to mine the coin using nVidia GeForce GTX 650. No go. Any thoughts on using Chaincoin GPU miner with that card?

.bat file config:
set GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT=100
set GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS=1
sgminer -k chaincoin -o 127.0.0.1:11995 -u <my user name> -p <my password> -I 12 -g 4 -w 128

It looks like you are missing the blake.cl when you compiled it.

Are you using this version?
https://github.com/max232l/chain-sgminer/

Edit: Sorry, I realized you may of not compiled it.

blake.cl ain't missing, it's in the /kernel folder - http://puu.sh/9Qqk6/d22a74a3db.png
I'm using a miner combined by michael_phelps. I just wonder, does it even support nVidia mining?

Whoops, my fault. Didn't even check github... Any chance that the miner will support nVidia in the nearest future?

It's still very possible to mine with a CPU..  Although, I did a quick search and it appears Hirocoin has an outstanding bounty for someone
to create an nvidia GPU supported miner.. Which could be used to mine Chaincoin, too.. Bounty is unclaimed atm..

The dev is still around working on updates for the wallet and others have been working on some other projects for Chaincoin, too.
I'm sure there will be announcements on the thread when there is something to be announced, but in the mean time if anyone besides the trolls would like to throw out some ideas on what kinds of services/games/etc you would like to see for Chaincoin, please post them with your Chaincoin address and I will send you some Chaincoin for your suggestions..

Thanks!

It may of been that there was a flood of new altcoins coming out at the time.
There were many good altcoins that got overlooked because of this.

There is a link for a GPU miner in the thread. You can mine with CPU or GPU..

Any news on block explorer? It's been a while since it was announced.

The good news is ... Abe serves the metadata for block 0. The not-so-good news is that it only sees block 0.

Abe has read the blockchain and created a coherent-looking sqlite3 db. I'm working to identify the cause of the problem.

Cheers
