i have 221k and the blocks getting confirmed since half an hour again. But i had maybe 10-15 orphans.

Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

make sure to get much connections as youcan, and open the port at ur modem, this will avoid orphan blocki got more than 100 connections so never ever get orphan
