This looks good.. very clean and recognisable, especially in thumbnail size.
The only addition I can think of is a hint of the Anime-style drawings, but I am not sure how that can be achieved without cluttering the design.

I don't think branding Animecoin as a "bakunyuu coin" is the proper way to promote the coin. Animecoin was designed to embody the spirit of anime and the anime community. As such, we should focus on the more respectable aspects of anime and not... that.

Someone made a comment on Reddit about how the coin would be popular as a tipping mechanism in the Anime subreddit. I do believe that to be the case as well. We need a functional Reddit tipbot as soon as possible and promote the coin to those who would surely appreciate it. If I had access to a server and was well versed in online languages, I would edit the open source code of the Altcoin tipbot myself. Alas, I do not and am not. I am, however, willing to donate a few coins to a community bounty designated to its creation and maintenance.

there are no need to change sources. just yml configs, as i see. but, i don't have servers for now  -_-

New to the thread.  Could someone give me a few examples of real world applications of this coin.  Thanks!

the coin is around for a bit longer than a month, what would you expect? at least it has a plan to have some real world applications, not like other coins that are meant for pump and dump, i will keep buying and mining.

I'm mining for a while, I decided to mine for two reasons: promise of cpu-only, I do not own a dedicated graphics card, and it being anime-themed, I have watched 150+ anime tv series and 50+ movies.

I'm ready to hold the coins for years if need be, but for them to ever be both useful and valuable we need services, and do not mistake a service for an exchange... For people to want to buy the coin, it has to be some use - there has to be a service or a product that they want and can purchase with animecoin. Even better if said service accepts only ANI, without it there is no demand for the coin, there is only the huge mined supply. Noone wants to buy and someone wants to sell = low price

I think you misconstrued my statement.  I was contemplating at investment and simply asking what the coins are potentially going to be used for.  Wasn't expecting that they were readily exchanged for goods and services at this point.
