Fiku, it's a P2P pool, you have to work on the pool for a while, then it gives out Animes over a short time period.
Sometimes I go 12 hours with nothing, then it gives loads for 20 minutes, then nothing again!  It can be worrying but it's normal.

Also, where's ani-chan? Left us all to rot already? He/she should do some aggresive marketing too to promote.

A lot of people show a consumer attitude, that's pre-historic before-internet-collaboration ages.

You want to be served.

I like a coin without premine, BECAUSE that means it needs community effort.

On an open forum you get all kinds of comment.  I am grateful for the low price, as I will be buying every week for the next 2 months.

There will be plenty of supporters after the block rewards have halved twice.

I was thinking what would be the best place to start actually using the coins, and figured what if in deviantART, you could tip people whose art you really dig, and buy stuff from them with ANI's? The site already has points system that you can use to purchase art and so on, and dollars can be used as well. But wouldn't AnimeCoin be just perfect for a setting like that? The site also has a huge anime fan base. And that would be just the place to have drawing competitions with good prizes and so on.

Therefore, I created group http://animecoin.deviantart.com/ and I hope everyone will join!  I am not graphically talented, so can't really create any content for the group, so it's still pretty crude looking portal. ani-chan, I'll assign you as the admin for the group if you'll join, and also others who are already familiar with the site and how it operates.

I have also started tipping people with ANI's there, and no surprise they haven't even heard of it.  But hopefully that will change.

Another one: Animecoin would be perfect for creating a donation system to help anime and manga translators. They certainly would hold to the coin until it gets a decent price. And also this is an enormous advertising opportunity.
