Update (Apr 25, 2014):
Previous voting results were very clear. Between 15 pools, BitcoinTalk gives first place to Multipool.us, second to WafflePool and third to MiddleCoin, concentrating almost 60% percent on those! See details in post below
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=424541.msg6383569#msg6383569

Now from today, votes are reset, pools appearing, so new ones were added. Please note: If you have to suggest a pool, or you're a pool operator, you have ten days from today to suggest adding your pool! And for the sake of representativeness, this poll will run for a couple of months.

Share info about them in comments!

Original Post (Jan, 2014):
Just wanted to know where are you mining at/which is the best, because there're a lot of these out there today.

By the way, Do you consider that Kimoto's Gravity Well is going to take them out of business?

Tell me your opinion.

List of the pools added to the poll (just a part of them, may be outdated)

Multipool.us
As today 24-Apr-2014, my experience is just OK. I like everything but their non-existent password reset option, and the fact that they haven't replied my email, so I had to make a new account... You can lose coins with this behavior, so sign up at your own risk.

http://hash.so
Thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=402076.0
0% pool fee
stratum
vardiff
fast payments
Nice administrator
10 second cron loop (payments and stats are fast)
Comments: Automatic switching it's going to be implemented. Coin switcher is web-based, and (as admin said) very fast, doesn't need to point your workers to other address.

Hi,
I tried Megamultipool.com but I don't see any hashrate in my account...
Maybe it only updates hourly, I did only test it for a few minutes.

Please add LTCRabbit.com

We automatically switch scrypt mining to most profitable altcoin and exchange the coins to LTC.
Miners get paid comfortably in LTC every hour (PPS altcoin bonus on top of LTC regular payment).

Current Altcoin Bonus on top of regular PPS: 34%

Best,
PPanther

Thanks for the feedback, @mikerbiker6!

I'm adding LTCRabbit.com, @ppanther, Do you mean that your profitability is 34% better than LTC? How much standard deviation?

Megamultipool will in the near future also support autotrade for BTC.
According to their contactsperson.

It's been implemented... and more transparent than middlecoin... Very well supported pool. Highly recommended (middlecoin as well).

Ecrypton seems to just be catching email sign ups at this point; something coming soon.

FWIW, they do have really nice site design.

The coin switcher on hash.so is not automatic, nor is it profitability based. What it does is you point your miners to stratum+tcp://pool-eu.hash.so:1337 and after that you can switch the coin from the web gui (or mobile interface). It switches to the selected coin super duper fast <1 second, and it will not disconnect your miners while switching you.

Automatic switching is on our list of things to implement.. And I think (obviously) that it's going to be rather interesting Smiley

Hash.so mining pools with easy coin switching! vardiff, pplns, and 0% fee (1% default donation). Come join us! Smiley
Currently we have 40 scrypt coins and adding new ones all the time.

You should add http://www.clevermining.com/

And I pray for a SHA256 auto-switching/trading pool omg ... something like middlecoin but in SHA256 mode  Cry
My ideal pool is one that could allow you to choose to auto-convert into BTC and LTC ( and to hold other altcoins as option ), with SHA256 and scrypt support and nice graphs/transparency/security.
No pool like that exists  Embarrassed
