You should have put down a "never" option in the poll so you could see what percentage of people in this form actually own a firearm.

I answered never because I can't afford shit. I should have just bought a .22LR pistol so I could actually fucking afford the ammo and to drive out to BLM shooting areas.

The first thing repressive governments do is ban civilians from owning firearms.  Here are just a few characters you may recognize:

Pol Pot
Adolph Hitler
Stalin

Hundreds of MILLIONS murdered by their own governments because they could not defend themselves.

Make no mistake, the right to bear arms is the cornerstone of the free world.

Not being American or having to live in America I can safely say that I am thankful I can send my child to school without worrying that they're going to get shot by some lunatic who had a collection of lethal weapons, yet as the lunatic was only 20 years old he still can't legally buy alcohol. Where is the sense in this?

I agree with you. But don't expect to persuade any Americans of this Wink

I'd like to know where this utopia is that the second a criminal touches a gun, it vanishes from existence.

I have part of a gun.

Strangely, I found the stock of some sort of smith and wesson hand gun when cleaning up some blackberry overgrowth.  I don't know where the rest of the gun is nor do I know how long it was under the berries.
