in my own opinion you can avoid scams by studying the ICO your trying to invest with. make sure you understand their projects.
and make sure they are giving you security. just like this ICO, https://medium.com/@dcc.finance2018/dcc-token-sale-is-upon-us-and-we-want-you-to-participate-safely-7f7613e4237c

To learn more about DCC, you can visit their website at http://dcc.finance/ or follow them on Twitter at https://twitter.com/DccOfficial2018

Great stages, site straightforwardness, awesome colleagues and great abundance directors, that will be your premise with regards to where you have to put your cash on this industry, just like stock trade, you should first know the organization you are contributing with so you won't be misled. In this regard bitcoin is the best but be aware of the wicked people.

I think this requires you to seriously understand the cryptocurrency you are investing in! I think that before you invest, you should learn more about its background, the popularity of his team and its projects! These are all important!

You mean ICOs, OP? A coin is a coin. When it hits the trading sites after the ICO, it is not a scam anymore. It could be not profitable but scam =/= low profitability.

If you're referring to how to avoid scams then don't be blinded by that large allocation of tokens in bounties, I am pretty sure that you're hunting one. Are you lazy to read the whitepaper? That could be the 40% of your safety in investing your time in ICOs when you start reading them. There are some sites where ICOs are being rated by such ICOs expert.

Do not get so easily triggeredly joined after you saw that 5-star ICO. Those ratings could be a pay out for those raters. I mean it is an option for someone to pay an adviser to conclude their ICO as a good ico, good whitepaper and such.

It is upon your knowledge, not someone else on how can these scammy projects get avoided.
Well, why, I think we all can share our pieces of advice in order to make our lives simplier and better. So i do nog mind sharing my experience

Nowadays, scams are everywhere even here in crypto. They are spreading their bad deeds and intentions. But it is our responsible to avoid every scams that we are going to face. We should study and read a lot to know what is legitimate or not. We must be very careful and not to be gullible.

We all want to avoid this, but today many people still come across similar projects and there are a lot of such projects, because today there are no services that would filter these projects, today many projects just do what they collect money.
Yes, this is true that all of us wants to avoid scams but we cannot easily determine whether the certain cryptocurrency is a scam. We need to be careful for the things that we do. In joining the projects, we need to gather first data and information or maybe background about the project we are going to join in. Being wise is the best weapon against the scams.

I personally think that the cryptocurrency market has always been ups and downs. It is normal for the Walton chain to fall. I think that as an investor, the most important thing is patience. Without patience, you will have nothing to do.

Fraudsters are everywhere and don't visit or click on unauthorized sites or links.

Learning more about how blockchain technology works, learning more about the project's purpose, and knowing the team's developers will help understand and understand more details about the project's legality or fraud.

Be diligent and updated of the potential scams in the community. Educate yourself on what are the possible scams that may occur such as phishing scams/hacks, no escrow scams, free ether giveaway scams and other types of too good to be true offers.
