Hi Miners,

Can't mine using my 2 "ATI Radeon HD 5800 Series" cards. missing 330 Mhas/s on each Sad

Am able to mine through processor only 8 Mhas/s  Grin

GUIMiner says in Console, "Verification failed, check hardware! (0:1:Cypress, 1e5a6128)" or other last 8 digits, as many similar errors show at once.

Am not good in coding lately, forgot all my skills Tongue

is there any code I have to add to "Extra Flags" in GUIMiner ?

I have checked "Mining Hardware Comparison" card is not listed, tried to use closest possible code, I get error (-l no such code, or -g no such code)

Any idea PLEASE ? I wanna mine SadSadSad

Thanks alot

Try using Bitminter client first. It's very good to check if your gpu will hash properly. This mines for bitcoin.

Then tell us, what coin are you trying to mine?

I'm wondering if you're trying to mine doge or ltc or something, an alt coin?

Because you will not get anywhere mining for btc with guiminer on a gpu.

There is a fork of guiminer called guiminer-scrypt, and this or cgminer will get the most out of your gpu minig for scrypt coins.

ebinum: thanks ,  I installed both APP SDK and Catalyst (Latest both didn't work)

railzand: thanks, Its working fine on both cards with this miner, still I can see in the console below "Probe Failed, No Serial Ports found"

but am able to see both the accepted works on client and website profile also.

Am mining BC for now, if you have suggestions on not to waste time, and if there is another which might rise like BC let me know please,

I can do 700 Mhps total for now, if I use all available machines might be able to reach 2G

Hey man, mining BTC with a GPU is pretty much pointless now. ASICs have pushed them out of the market by ramping the difficulty up. Don't waste your gear and mine litecoin or another scrypt coin with your GPU instead

ok that's great both your cards work. don't worry about serial ports, that's for plugging things in other than gpus.

I am no altcoin expert, I point my cards at hasco.ws. there is also middlecoin. both have threads here.

these mine altcoins but convert them for you to bitcoin, and you earn more that way, until you know more about it all.

you should probably now move this thread to https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=160.0 there's a button somewhere to move thread, or start a new one

those guys should be able to start you off using cgminer --scrypt. read the scrypt-readme and gpu-readme files that come with cgminer 3.7.2 (thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=28402.0 )

2G/hs sha256 mining (bitcoin) is still not worth doing, but will convert to under 2Mh/s scrypt (most altcoins) and still earn a little  Smiley
