According to NIST and ECRYPT II, the cryptographic algorithms used in Bitcoin are expected to be strong until at least 2030. (After that, it will not be too difficult to transition to different algorithms.)

As a noob, I thank you for publishing this guide.  Any MTS wallet for tips?

What kind of hashrate can be expected for the various droplet sizes?

Right now I'm playing with an AWS c1.medium instance and getting ~130 kHash/s.  It's a 2 CPU instance if that's of any help.
