I didn't screenshot it, but whatever, give it to him.  I can honestly say he was not 2000.

I can confirm that TheBeardedMann was #2000 before gtac01.
I deleted mine to show that you can manipulate the post number.  This WAS a good idea.  It's now just a post manipulation game.

Anyhow, if I get coins I'll feed right back to the community.

Thanks.  50 Correct?  If so, 50 I promised to give back and I'll give out 50 of my own to match.  Now...any suggestions on how to?  Not just a "giveaway" to just anyone.

100 - 50 - 15 - 7 = 28 left for distribution ideas
100 - 1 - 5 = 94 left to giveaway

The first person to take and post a picture of them holding a fork, hairdryer and a remote control get 7 PMC.
The first 15 that follow @1916Rocks on Twitter get 1 PMC.  Post your name and address here and I'll verify if you started following @1916Rocks.
The first 10 that post a screenshot of their balance (using http://cryptexplorer.com/chain/Premine) that is less than 25 PMC get 5 PMC.

Giveaways left:
1 - Picture
14 - Twitter follows
9 - Screenshot of balance

Do I hold the fork and hairdryer in my right or left hand? Or I do not hold the fork and hairdryer in the same hand at all, if so do I hold the remote control and hairdryer in my left or right hand or I do not hold the hairdryer and remote control in the same hand at all, if so do I hold the remote control and fork in my left or right hand? Whoever makes a slideshow of all possible combinations gets 99.99PMC and you must get it right ;p

And I'll double TheBeardedMann's rewards.

Huh  I see your balance was 8.416.  Why didn't you screenshot that?  Anyhow, sent you another 5 PMC as per the other giveaways.

Just came to check on my script, and had a screen full of 404s. Looks like I either got blocked from accessing the block explorer too often, or it's being laggy.

I'll have to work on it again tomorrow and divide it into smaller workloads, that way I won't lose everything should I get disconnected again. I should use curl really. Much more reliable.

Perhaps it should just run continually, and gradually just continue paying out rewards. I'll see how I can improve it tomorrow. I have a working script now, it's just way too much data to be trying to access so quickly. Again, without the data in the API I have to scrape each individual transaction hash page. That's a lot of traffic. I probably got blocked from sending too many page requests too quickly.

Use http://cryptexplorer.com/chain/Premine, it's instant unlike a non-updated wallet, but I sent you 5 PMC already.

I probably got blocked from sending too many page requests too quickly.

Wouldn't that be easy to work out with the web host or something?

This could actually be a really valuable experiment.  I don't know that anyone has tested this scenario yet in the wild.  Maybe Quark comes closest, but not really the same.  What happens when mining reaches the end and Tx operation takes over?  Well, now we can find out...  I like it.

Food for thought:
Quark - 247,000,000 QRK initially mined.  1,000,000 QRK mined each year after.  0.004% mined each year roughly.
Premine - 500,000 PMC instantly mined.  0 PMC mined each year after.  At 0.01 PMC tax per transaction, it would take only 200,000 transactions to reach 2,000 PMC which is 0.004% of 500,000.
Yes, I know it's not quite the same, but it should give you an idea that mining for TX Fees isn't that bad and it's similar to mining for Quark......kinda.
