Yes it is too risky to buy cryptocurencies that is not in top 100 you might experience this
◽️You might loose your money.
◽️You can still sell it but in a low price.
◽️You cannot trade it because their is no value in the exchange.
◽️You can sell it P2P but low chance of selling it.
◽️You can still earn, but you will earn with a low price.
What I have listed is just my opinion, you can still do whst ever you like. You can still buy cryptocurrencies thst is not in the top 100. You can search on how you can still earn with the cryptocurrencies that is not on top 100.

risk is always there even in the investment of the best 100 crypto. if what you mean is a higher chance to lose your money, let me emphasize again that it can still happen in the best 100 crypto. the size of the lost depends on how much your investment capital, when did you invest, what kind of investment do you run, short term or long term? so you can not guess or rank crypto as the only parameter in getting a return on investment

With greater risks come great rewards. I put very little money into some low caps every now and then, especially during bull runs. If you remember the last bull run from last year, every crap coin on every exchange saw massive gains. Literally, in whatever shitcoin you invested, you gained a few hundred % ROI, so it makes sense to invest a little bit of money into such coins, but only during bull runs.

of course very risky, but that's what I do for now. I think in a few months I can earn at least one to one profit from my investment profits. I think you can do it, but you should check and analyze it first before it is really speculated. |

Not really. Any coin that has been listed on a "reputable" exchange can be trusted. By reputable, I mean IDEX, Binance, Bittrex etc. Listing on these websites isn't cheap and costs approximately a million dollars to be listed. No company would spend such a huge amount to get listed only to run away in future. That is why I only trust the coins listed on reputable exchanges. So you can buy coins which are not in top 100 as long as they are listed on reputable exchanges.

Yeah its a little bit risky. Top 10 or top 20 coins are more trustable.But , its a crypto world.Who knows , tomorrow.So everything has risky.

Its always advisable that you should buy Top 100 coins but look out for the last 10 coins that keeps changing all the time as there is always competition that is going on. So you may not wanna hit the bad coin that might just go off the 100 due to low volume or some other coins. For the top 100 coins that is the most interesting thing by the way where crypto currencies are receiving huge volumes (daily) and thus they are keeping that way. If you invest in them then your investment is always secured one but when it will get pumped it is always the mystery. |

All altcoins are the same ones that have been in the market. The risks will persist as long as you do not understand what you are investing, at least you should know the potential of the altcoin you choose. You will be lucky to see that project future or market future altcoin, is good and even acceptable to the public, as we know most countries banned cryptocurrency, a good altcoin is that can change the government's view of cryptocurrency. |

Even if it does belong to the top 10, that doesn't mean there is no risk involved. In every investment, risk is always there and how to be able to minimize the risk, you should have to study the market trend of such choice of coin for your investment. There is always a right time where you buy your coin and sell it and moreover, you should be careful in your selection and observe also the price history in every choice of coins and decide later.

I think it is not really about it being one of the top 100 crypto currency but how far and how successful it can be in the future. If you invest in a coin that is not one of the top 100, it can later become successful and you gain more profit from it or it can be the otherwise as most new coin do not have enough strength to remain. The best thing to do before investing in a coin is to make sure you do all necessary research about the coin before you invest in it.

I would not advise you to buy coins from Top 100! It is better to find a promising token on some poorly known exchange and buy it. |

there are some new projects that do not go directly into the top 100 ranking, which determines the risk or not is your belief in the coin, a lot of coins that start from the bottom and they convince many investors because of the project they have, if you managed to do it then you will be millionaire in less than 2 years. |

Not really there are promising coins out there but not included in top 100. Investing is based on your own risk appetite. It is only our perception that it is good to invest within the top 100 crypto. Losing money is dependent on your skill in trading and not on the cryptocurrency. Even you choose good coins if you lack in knowledge then the probability that you will lose money will increase. |

It is actually better to invest on top coins since they are well known and well established. Their prices are also somewhat more stable (compared to other coin price) and hence it is less riskier. But the downside is you won't be making huge profits since those coins does not skyrocket all of a sudden like other coins which are less known does. |
