Unequivocally, the risk is present, but if you chose the correct crypto currency not from the top 100, you are a rich man.

No, it isn't. Many good projects still undervalue and under ICO price too.
that's chance for you to grab some cheap one. just make sure you know about the thing you buy
And thats the hardest thing to learn,on how to find the right coin to buy

No one of us know what would be the next great thing because if we do,we will buy them all and just wait for the right time to sell.

With how many coins around the globe yes Risk is more buying not in top 100 coins

Hmm i think it will be based on that project and the team.. Etc
You know those top 100 never started at top 100 they started lower than that and grow

Popularity is not the only reason in making a profit, you have to look at it's potential and growth. Alts not existing in the top 100 can also give you reasonable profit and it could actually sometimes moon. Do some reaseaching and studying so you can minimize the risks, doing such things will definitely give you a scope on what your dealing.

Maybe some of the coins may not increasing, but the important to know is the behind of the coin like the team and their projects just a little research from them so that you know if it is potential coin or not.

Hey what do you think, is it risky to buy crypto currencies that are not top 100? I mean do you have a higher chance to lose your money or not?

Yes it's riskier than buying crypto in top 100 but it can give you big profit. I also got big profit from investing in crypto outside top 100 cmc. Nano (formerly xrb), sumokoin and btcz were altcoins outside top 100 cmc that gave me big profit after their price were skyrocketed in late december last year.

It's very risky to buy not top 100 crypto currencies. But investment it is always a risk, even if you buy top 10 crypto currencies.

Of course this is very dangerous, but you can earn much more. Coins with a small capitalization can grow very high in price, you will get 100-2000% of profit. On top coins you will not be able to earn so much.

Not at all just read the white paper because all the details are there and check if its supported by the community, There are some crypto needs to grow before it become popular if the crypto has a potential for sure it will patronize by the people and when it comes to investing whether the crypto is on the top 100 or 10 there's always a risk because of having high volatility.

If it is a short-term investment, it is possible to try, but I doubt that there are such goldfish swimming. But in the long term... it's like burning your money...

If you are lucky enough, then, this could be a good choice since those at the bottom in the list are much cheaper than the top 100 and could pump drastically high. But, I tell you, this is really risky but if you are willing to take the risk, just do it now that the market had just drop for a while of stabling.

I think right now it's risky because the price of bitcoin is low but when the bitcoin price rises knowing that those who are not in the top 100 will rank their price or even more risky because now the scam is bigger and have bought the altcoin so sometimes they dump it so it can affect altcoin

Generally the game of crypto is all about luck there are some tokens who are not on the list of the top 100 crypto but have good price in the market and has the capacity to give investors good return on they investment. Ranking do little to the viability of a tokens what speak most is the market cap of the coins, they are some cryptocurrency that are among the top 100 but have low price in the market. So what is important is the role and the Price of the coin that determine the risk involved in holding or trading it.

Most of the top 100 cryptocurrencies did not started at the position, they eventually move from somewhere to top 100, there are many new released coin with a very high potential and surely will reach top 100 soon, just make good research and choose the right coin.

I don’t think it is risky to invest in coins that are not in top 100 coinmarketcap as long as the project is good. Some new projects don’t have the volume yet, but does have the potential to be popular and attract new investors.

The risk is always, even if you buy any coins from the top100, because the probability of a falling market is clearly not excluded, pay attention to it and do not forget about it until it is necessary to forget.

Yes it's too risky because you might become being scam and also to those new altcoins or to those coin that not in a top cryptocurrency they might be a fraud coin, so i think its better to trust only a top coin so you might avoid being scam. And i think its better to believe only in a coin that have potential so surely get a huge profit, and give you a lot of opportunity to earn without losing money, but before you buy make sure it is one of the top coin like Ethereum or Bitcoin.

Yes, investing in lower market cap coins does come with higher risk but you will get higher returns if the coins make it.

Many investors spent lots of time to research for low marketcap coins with potential for investment.

If in my opinion there is no risk to invest in projects that are not top 100 top we see maybe in coinmarketcap is not the rank of each coin on how good they are, but the position is pretty much based on their respective market capitalization, but if we can do research on projects that have a lot of potential, maybe new in the market and not so big market, you will hit big Jackpot in the long run.
