It’s fair to say this last week has been a whirlwind for gift coin. With arguably one of the most highly anticipated crypto coins to ever pre-release, the buzz, support and genuinely just the sheer amount of interest was both an unexpected but highly rewarding result of days of sleepless nights and the probable catalyst of my impending hair loss.

To date, we’ve had 47,674 views on the initial Giftcoin announcement (and rising), which not only shows the ripple we made, but also gives us the confidence that GiftCoin is a real contender and a true titan of the crypto world. On launch alone, we received over 3Gh/s which send web servers, pools and forums into haywire causing a crash unprecedented by any other crypto currency to date. Essentially we came, we saw, we conquered, had 27 kids each, realised what we conquered couldn't house our needs and as a result the banks burst without our control (Thanks Obama).

On one hand there was an initial sense of achievement that our Coin made waves and had actually brought down the components which facilitate it, but on the other a sobering thought that the crash would in turn cause a crash of confidence with people who simply couldn't mine GiftCoin. To clarify, the crash was never intended, we never anticipated people to react on the scale they did and the idea was always to be as transparent as possible putting out new features and fun prizes to build a solid community with durable confidence.

So, what happens now? We get creative! With Wirlwind couple of weeks (as it shall now forever be coined – get i.. ah nevermind.) over, we’re looking to pick up where we left off and start rolling out some of the unique features of GiftCoin which made us want to set up the Coin in the first place! First, let us introduce to you GiftCoinForum.com!

The official forum for all things Giftcoin. Here you’ll find everything from Mining Pools giving you live updates of available pools and mines, to Support where our technical team are on board to help with any queries or questions regarding Giftcoin, to General discussions where one is free to discuss absolutely anything (Apart from Coinye where Kanye appears, aggressively claiming he does not in fact have gills.) The forum’s going to be constantly reviewed, renewed and expanded as we grow – Would love to hear some suggestions on design, new threads or any other reservations from you guys!

#2 - Promotional Video [500 GFT]
#3 - New Wallet GUI [750 GFT]

More to come..

Next, as of today, we’re proudly launching one of our flagship features – The GiftCoin Gift card. These can come either as a virtual receipt or as a physical Gift card, from 10 GFT to as much as 500 GFT. This will allow you to trade and exchange Giftcoins with your fellow peers and provide GiftCoin with greater exposure to the market. We’re really hoping to cross over the crypto-monetary currency barrier with this one; the next step is to acquire acknowledgement from retailers which will allow an organic expansion of GiftCoin as a successful and internationally revered crypto-currency. Below are some sample Giftcoin cards ranging from 10 - 500 GFT as well as editable PSD files with an easy-to-edit QR code layer:

Over the coming days we’re going to be launching a spontaneous forum based promotion we are calling ‘Redeem this’. On any given day, at any given time, in any given moment, we’ll be posting redeemable Giftcoin cards on Bitcointalk and our very own GiftCoinForum.com with varied amounts (10 – 500 GFT) - When you see a forum post titled ‘Redeem This’ you better be ready! The winner will be the first person to scan the QR code and redeem the full Giftcoin card amount, it’s that simple.

So that you are ready (like a ninja) here are the Giftcoin card redeeming instructions:

We need support in the form of network hash power and awareness of the coin in order to get onto the exchanges. If you are pointing your miners to Giftcoin, we thank you for your support - You can spread awareness of Giftcoin by adding a comment to the exchange add requests below:

So there we have it – This is the official Reigniting of GiftCoin. I hope we’ve been as honest and sincere as we’ve intended to upon our reignition. We’ll say it again loud and proud, the support you guys have given GiftCoin thus far has been more than we could have ever hoped and really fuels us to stay determined to put absolutely every breathing hour we have into its success. But part of that success is down to you. The simple fact of the matter is, in order to get on the exchange we need network power, and in order to gain this we need support from a dedicated community of miners. The past few weeks have been a learning curve, but nonetheless a beautiful journey; one we hope you’ll all continue to stick with and be a part of.

Let us as a community work together and see GiftCoin achieve the unprecedented success we all know it can get.

See you guys on the other side!

GiftCoin HQ

Quote from: Oleg Shyra
Giftcoin is a serious coin with a good goals. Among the whole bunch of new coins, most of which are meme or joke coins, it is the most reasonable and promising one. So it will be long lasting. But it needs promotion. Trade and exchange with other cryptos will definitely bring more attention to it and make it grow. Please, consider adding it to the exchange markets. Thank you and good luck!

win wallet dont sync  Huh

the difficulty level is high right now, your wallet will sync when a new block is out, and difficulty will drastically drop once we get the hashing power to get over the current bump.

Don't know, but I'll put a note for the dev, I'm moderating since he's in the UK. We'll update tomorrow on that
