He mister Dev, so you back from your 2 week vacation or what ? You launched a coin then you go missing, the coins goes dead, stuck at high difficulty you are no where to be seen or heard from and now after 2 weeks you come back and you created a forum, that is it ? you really think people gonna start mining this coin again at this high difficulty because you created a forum ?  Roll Eyes

Last block was mined 29 hours ago, as long as you dont fix the difficulty with a hard fork, this coin will remain dead. Go fix that first before you try anything else

Thanks for your responses - Yes, it's true the coin is at 55 difficulty and there are 1914 blocks before the difficulty changes.

The problem can be solved simply by you guys believing in the coin and helping push past the this rough patch - The coin has such create potential and a beautiful concept.

The devs involved in this project have made absolute 0 profit and judging by the hard road ahead will ultimately make 0 profit from Giftcoin all together. We believe in the concept, we believe in the coin, it's about leaving our mark on the cryptocurrency market now and having this great coin part of the cryptocurrency revolution - We DO want this coin to be traded and we DO want this coin to be accepted in stores, but without your support this is impossible.

It will be the same situation again once the coin is reasonably profitable, catcoin suffered from this, and it was forked once to a more reasonable block retarget value but it's still suffers from multipool, and thus a solution simular to gravity well is in the works, this coin needs a similar fork tbh.

It doesn't matter what nice words you write. This coin can't be kept alive this way. There will NEVER be enough miner to fix the difficulty issue. You HAVE TO do something with it. Fork it or find another way to decrease the difficulty. This is the only chance. Net hashrate is down to 15 Mhash/s and decreasing from day to day.

Or you could pay for it. Give high rewards to motivate miners from other pools. Giftcoin worth nothing in this case, you have to sacrifice some BTC.

I will not mine it, until you solve the difficulty issue.

No. The dev created this coin as a pump/dump to make BTC, and then left it to die.
Not only that but The initial pools were scams as well.

SCAM

Don't mine this coin! The dev is knowingly being a jerk. The coin is worthless, and the difficulty will take 3 years to change. No transactions, no exchange, etc.
