Hello all,
Sorry to post it here but can't find support anywhere else for this problem....

Indeed, I bought the model shown in the first post, to a local supplier (that bought where ?).

I didn't manage to put more than 2 GPU on the mining rig, with such risers...

As soon as I put 3 of them, mining irg either shutdowns immediately after starting ming or shutdowns after a few minutes...

I tried multiples configurations, add an extra PSU, etc...

The problem really seems related to use of USB risers...

Testing configuration :

Asrock H61 Pro BTC
Intel G1620
4Go RAM
4x VTX 280x
Lepa 1600W
BAMT

Can't find any feedback about such risers.... So, can't define if functioning is approved...or not...

BUT, I found this thread describing the SAME problem... :

http://forum.feathercoin.com/index.php/topic,7322.msg56082.html#msg56082

Thank you for any help...

Sorry to OP to post it in a "commercial" thread...

Sincerely,

It sounds a configuration issue or a defective 1x PCI-E card. Do all three cards work in 2 configuration?

We will be receiving a small batch of risers that will be for sale on Sunday.

New risers will have a yellow connector instead of blue. We will have 50,60 and 100cm risers instock. We've also upgraded our QC process to QC 100% of all our risers!

Please contact me if you have any questions or concerns.

We're changing all our risers to 100% QC test for all future batches. Most of the time risers either work on the first try or they don't work at all. In order to avoid any RMAs since they're costly in terms of customer time, shipping cost and replacement parts, we decided to QC 85-100% of all risers. We have a low percentage of RMAs, less than 2%. If your risers work, then there is no reason to RMA.

You should keep the foam on the bottom of the risers.

Our shipments have been delayed by customs and will not come until the middle of next week. Due to the high demand, I will setup a preorder page, and items will ship at the latest the 22nd. I will keep prices the same, but after this next batch of 1000 units prices will go up a tad bit.

Wow... that is a lot of cables. Could you tell me the difference between the wide and slim risers you're selling?

The slim boards have two power filters and the wide have three. However, it's up to personal / visual preference. I use both type of risers in my setups. They've been running great!

Let me know if you have any questions.

it's not obvious from the picture of the slim riser. Where does the power cable plug into? I only see the usb connector on the actual riser.

The power cable plugs right underneath the USB Connector. Let me know if you have any questions. While most of our competition sell pre-orders, all products listed on our site are INSTOCK and ready to ship! Most orders are shipped within 24 hours, however most of the time they're shipped the same day if placed before 9PM PST.

I've received a lot of questions on how the Dual PSU Adapter works, here is a quick summary,

You plug the 2nd PSU into the 24pin ATX and a SATA cable from the first power supply. Once you turn on the first power supply, the 2nd one will turn on automatically, it will also power off at the same time.

We've lowered our prices to $17.99 to meet the market price. Prices will not go down any further unless there is a drastic cost decrease from the manufacture. Remember, when you order from us you'll get same day shipment (if ordered before 5PM, but normally we extend this to 10PM), excellent customer service and quality products.

We currently only have stock of the "slim" risers since they just came in a few days ago. I'll have more "wide" risers next week.

Is anyone interested in some test risers? These are brand new risers that haven't been released by anyone. Pricing is $9/shipped per one.

Yes, these slim risers are exactly the same as the wide risers. They're powered by a 4pin to either Molex or SATA cable. Power cable is located underneath the USB port on the 16x riser.

BTW, I recently received a huge stock of 30cm USB Risers and Dual PSU Power Cables ($9.99)

Are you going to add Greece to your shipping destinations? If so what's the shipping cost going to be?
