New Poll!
You get to decide what will be the next exchange to get supported in Cryptocurrency-Trader Pro-version. Winner of the last poll was Cryptsy and it will be in the Pro-version when it launches next month. Also if you have any feature requests don't be shy and post it Smiley Also the program will be switched from Java 7 to the Java 8 for the better working GUI and bug fixes.

Definitely looking forward to the Pro version! Don't know if integrating this type of chart is feasible, but it would really be awesome if so:

http://altlist.net/price-differences.php

Also, equally awesome would be Open-Transactions integration:

http://opentransactions.org/wiki/index.php?title=Main_Page

Also, any idea on what your price will be, and are you going to be integrating a real-time payout affiliate program?

That kind of chart is certainly feasible since the program already has all the data needed for it. I am thinking it would make sense to add that and maybe other kinds of comparative charts to their own tab ( like settings ) .

Open-Transactions looks really intriguing and will probably get implemented at some point but it wont be top priority unless it wins the vote.

The price of the product will be defined in euros but is only payable in bitcoin ( looking to add more payment options, don't know if there will be at launch ). The exact price will depend how much functionality will get added before launch, but now it seems it wont be much over 20 euros including taxes. When you buy a license for the product it includes future versions of that product. The price will rise for new customers when new versions are released. No monthly payments.

No plans about payout affiliate programs atm.

Adding the comparison data in a tabbed format would definitely make for an exceptionally smooth end user experience.

Open-Transactions looks really intriguing and will probably get implemented at some point but it wont be top priority unless it wins the vote.

I'd be mighty obliged if you'd add it as a poll option (and kindly count my "Something else" vote as one vote for OT). I will then make a general Open-Transactions Community announcement accordingly, to cordially invite them in on the voting action.

In all cases, very exiting stuff! And your price for the Pro version is more than reasonable; made better by the fact that you'll be accepting BTC.  Wink

I have modified the poll but cannot change the votes there. I will remember to count one more towards Open-Transactions.

I have been busy lately with some other stuff, but when time has been available I have worked on the Cryptocurrency-Trader. The free version will receive an update within the next week or two that adds some things like a new table where you can easily compare prices and volumes between any two exchanges for trading pairs they share. The update will also add a version check that informs you when a new version of the program is available. Do you think you will find compare table useful as it is or would it be better to have another table/chart for volume information and reserve this for just prices? A screenshot about the new compare table ( not totally ready yet ):

The Pro-version will cost somewhere around 20 euros, payable in bitcoins, and will be out before june 2014.

There seems to be an issue between btc-e:s new ssl certificate and Java 8 ( I have not tested Java 7, may also affect that ). The result is at the moment that Cryptocurrency-Trader does not work with btc-e. I am working on this issue and it will be fixed in the next update.

CryptocurrencyTrader - Free 0.3b released

This contains a fix for BTC-e problems that have occurred since their SSL certificate update. Interface look and feel has been tweaked. This update will bring Java 8 compatibility and it is recommended to use that (program may work with Java 7).  This update was released fast because of the BTC-e problems and unfortunately I did not have time to test this with Java 7. As usual download from https://kilzeus.com/index.php/store. No registration required.

New features: comparison table for viewing price differences between supported exchanges for trading pairs that they share. Price history chart now lets you view 3 days of price changes. Informs you when a new version of the program is available.

Fixes & improvements: Quicker loading of price history, interface scaling improved in orders tab. BTC-e now works again.

Remember: The vote is still open!

The development will continue, so please report any issues or bugs you find so I can fix them at the earliest.

About the use of CryptocurrencyTrader name by others

There have recently been some posts that have copied & pasted descriptions of my program to advertise their own "services". These have had nothing to do with me, and I would remind everyone that the real CryptocurrencyTrader is only available from my website at https://kilzeus.com/index.php/store . IF other sources of download become available then this thread and my websites news page will contain a post from me about it. Same goes with any deals or partnerships with any people or services.

For whatever reason your documentation link is not working for me (tried several different points in time). Is there any chance you could upload it to an alternative repository such as the Internet Archive? Thanks for such a great trading terminal!

The documentation is not really up-to-date. I will update the manual for the current version within a few days and add it to the website ( it is not there yet ). The old user manual link is on the opening post. Beware that information in that manual is not totally accurate for 0.3b since it is for version 0.21b. If you have questions regarding the use of the program then you can ask here and I will answer.

Correct. The link https://mega.co.nz/#!JUgmzaCQ!ix92mMdSOQ6h2s0kCe97hgFk2GsbogFv7tnxd8hv0VI redirects to https://mega.co.nz/?_escaped_fragment_=JUgmzaCQ!ix92mMdSOQ6h2s0kCe97hgFk2GsbogFv7tnxd8hv0VI#!JUgmzaCQ!ix92mMdSOQ6h2s0kCe97hgFk2GsbogFv7tnxd8hv0VI

Any chance of uploading the manual to the Archive? Thanks!

Old CryptocurrencyTrader 0.21b manual is now available from https://archive.org/details/user_manual . It is not accurate, for example login-dialog is now under File->login menu on top-left corner.

Was able to access no problem.  Cool It would be great if you could upload your new manual to the Archive, as well (when it's ready).

I updated the manual enough to get people started on CryptocurrencyTrader. If you think some aspect needs more explaining then I will update the manual further. You can download the manual from Mega https://mega.co.nz/#!IEBFFA5B!AjjZ_DtQWtmbR4-tN1qNvkYKaf1t2U-NbEjKSHwPyaI or Internet archive https://archive.org/details/user_manual if I managed to update that properly Cheesy. OP also contains updated addresses.

#EDIT updated BTC-e trading pairs. Restart the program to see changes.

Took a quick peek... nice work on the update, manual's looking good! Later on this evening I'll give it a thorough read and make any applicable suggestions.
