Does anyone have a .conf file i can copy the format from   i keep getting "connection closed by pool" error. no idea how to fix that.

If you have problems with mining then come to our Discord, channel #mining. There is no default config for all possible miner software.

If you need the Actinium.conf then download the Windows Zip file, unpack it and take the conf from there.
