BTW - this coin is big and will be even bigger.
Dev is doing good job, there's publicity on the coin, a lot people talks about it, so a good place to be at the current market.

There wouldn't be huge pools jumping in for the coins and the nervous trading elsewhere, all would be dead, net < 500Mhash.
People wouldn't mine and manipulate coin which they think has no future.

All this "coin is dead" and other trolls are just playing to cause couple more miners to sell out, whales are still waiting, but with less and less people selling low, they'll eventually scoop up, either soon or with a drop of couple sat if more people sells out.

ppl are indicating we need to defend us against ppl trying to talk this coin down.

reason that we dont is that we spend our time on more important things like improving code, do "behind the scenes" communication, providing services and more.

threads in these forums always have ppl that are trying to talk a coin down.

its just normal and often these talks are part of a strategy.

ppl can decide for themselves if they go with any advice or just discard it.

only thing i can say... look at volumes, look at popularity ratings, look at the statistics. look at devs. look at community. we will be on this.

constantly defending just takes up large amounts of time that can/will be spent better if we just dont.

giving meaning to this is our top priority.

we are not away, working on things.

It's very clear what's going on - people noticed Leaf, how popular it's got, so want to make money on it.

We have 2 groups:

1) Big miners.

They realise they missed the initial train and as this coin is undervalued, so still a good time to mint load of coins for great profit, so:
They throw a lot Ghash to pump the diff up, once retargeted, they pull out.
Regular Joes are left, and some temporarily move somewhere else, diff goes down.
Big miners jump again, making a lot of coins quick. Diff goes up, they go again

2) Traders.

They made some money through fluctuations, but realise there's more to gain.
So through talks, spreading fear, settings walls, they want to push the price as much down as possible, to buy as much as possible in before times up (further halving, more miners = lower coin supply).

Sell/Buy orders means nothing.
Some sells are fake, some are silly miners.
Buys aren't there. Once the tradesr jump in, they'll just swipe sell orders, no need to keep buy walls.


Newbies miners will panic sell to get some profit, newbies traders will panic sell to cut losses.
Once only players/steady hands are left, game will start.

Here's what is going to happen eventually:

People who mined/bought in @ 2/3/4/5 will make a load of money
People who mined later/manipulated diff  / bought @ 15-25 will make a lot of money.
People who buy in after 30/40/50 are still going to make money, less short term, more long term.

Smart traders will make money anyway, either on shorts or long.


This coin is too popular in the sea of average coins, and people aren't stupid - they noticed and they can make big bucks here, it's too obvious.

Show another coin with such a history which got to 1 satoshi and died.

I've done mistake of moving farm to smart for almost 10h after launch/block 999.
Could have mined mlns of leaf at the time.
Not going to make the same mistake again.

Miners - stay the course, current diff may seem high but you will look back at this time with a smile in a couple weeks after another halving and with diff above 300...

There is a lot of FUD  in this thread  but we all know that LEAF will survive and just get stronger in long term. These attacks are only  confirmation that  LEAF is  good investment - those who noticed it too late just try to reduce price to buy cheaper. There is idea, there is community - it just can't fail.

Thanks mcg..........I'm new to all of this and have really enjoyed this community.

I've followed the board and discussions since day one........ I definitely have a secure feeling about all you and the others are trying to accomplish here and is why I've stayed.

I finally broke my silence a few days ago and commented on how I felt about what I was reading. I'm open to others opinions but also know there are a lot of people that are only commenting for their own interests, not others or this community. IMHO, a few of them are tag teaming this board to try and influence others..........such is some peoples nature.

There is an "ignore" button on here and I'm sure it works just fine. I've chosen to bypass anything they post most times but at other times I'll read it just to get a laugh.

Another thing I've realized in life is if you don't feed in to other peoples stuff, they tend to loose their thunder...........just don't comment back to them and they'll be left with themselves to talk to.
