I have a problem with this coin.
Present difficulty is 34.18957253, but when I run cgminer 3.7.2, the difficulty is 136?
Where is a problem? Does anyone have answer?

Ok, i'll try. First delete everything from appdata/leafcoin folder exept file wallet.dat. Then delete leafcoin qt folder from your pc, it is wallet program folder. then restart pc and download last wallet. Extract wallet program, and start wallet. If you have any another wallet opened from any other coin close it and wait to sync your wallet.

omg im struggling with my leaf wallet 2 days and like 14 hours .... im being very careful because I have a couple million coins.. but it is a mess....

everything was great till I did the mandatory upgrade ... than it went to hell ... so I did what I figured is the right thing to do.

1. saved the leaf.dat

2. made a backup!

3. deleted the old

4. installed the new version 0.8.6.2 with fix

it will not  sink or even attempt to sink kept it open almost 3 days now..

5. So I said ok, ill make a leafcoin.conf that should do it !!!!

it just says on the bottom left hand side "no block source available"   "4 Weeks Behind"

anybody have a good config file for me buy any chance?
what am I missing here? ...  Tips for help!!

are you running ANY firewall software, have you said YES when windows asked you to add an exception to the firewall, try on another PC.

If still not work, zip up %appdata%\leafcoin\debug.log and put it somewhere to download and we will have a look.

Sorry couldn't resist.. its a funny cryptoworld we live in when gravity is needed to make a coin fly.. no gravity and it crashes... ironic? yes..

question once implemented does this result in a change in wallet again? or is it back end stuff?

gravity is not needed at all, you just need a retarget at every block, like PeerCoin or Infinitecoin does.

yes, a wallet update is necessary..... we are very sorry about that but it is the only way to get protected from the multipools.

the multipools are watching the retarget. as soon as diff becomes low, they are here.... quickly collect coins and then they leave again.

to get more info on how this works search on "kimoto gravity".

we just need to test it on a testnet... expected arrival very soon.

will take a couple of blocks before we are going to insert it.... we need to give others time to update. so probably, what we see now, we will see a couple of times more.

retarget will be way less than 240 blocks.

Info is not wrong. I looked at 3 different pools and I have the same value. In the moment Net hash rate jumps form 2.4 to 10.5 and then difficulty jumps instantly form 34 to 136 ?!?!?! Doesn't matter the number of    Est. Next Difficulty (around 70)   (Change in 229 Blocks) !?!?! I do not understand how it is possible.
If you see now difficulty is 136 and Est Next Difficulty   89.49933466 (Change in 222 Blocks), Net hash rate is 6.41

thats strange the diff i got was from leaf.updamoon
I dont think diff has touched 35 in quite awhile... usually 50 plus

if i am not mistaken the diff before the current 136 was about 154 or so... it just dropped to 136 as network hash dropped from 10 to 6.. and is now around 5.5 gh

What is the difference between kimoto and difficulty retarget evey block?  Aren't they just the same thing?

Looking at blocks found, diff hit 35 a few hours ago, multipoolds joined and we burned through the blocks in no time until next diff change.

I can't wait until all coins have gravity and kill off these mindless multipool drones.

stop wallet

do a start->run->cmd.exe<enter>
type in window: ipconfig /flushdns

start wallet.
