It's not the investors that are tired of the ICO's,it's the government. In the last few months, SEC has cracked down a lot of illegal ICO's which operated without any licensing.Obviously in such a hostile environment it becomes difficult for an investor to risk their money. They rather wait for the things to settle instead of putting money where their mouth is.

There have been way to many ICO scams that have been in the news lately, so I think most investors have decided to hold off investing into ICO until some sort of clean up is done in that sector. The recent one with Hashcard seems to be the final nail in the coffin for ICO investors.

In addition to that, there is also KYC which investors avoid because they want to keep their anonymity. They aren't just waiting for things to settle, they are still making their moves to earn more profit while waiting. Some of them don't want to sacrifice their anonymity for the sake of profit. That being said, those who want to be anonymous(and others who want to profit despite this mess) invested onto existing altcoins with potential instead of putting their money into upcoming ICO's that are currently being scrutinized by the government.

I think it's also the people becoming more critical of ICOs and becoming skeptical in general. They've been burned a few times and try to invest better now.

SEC cant get the whole world, but they had an effect though, because icos are implementing kycs now and a lot of people dont want to do that so they are skipping icos who require authentification

ICO will going to peak but not all the projects are moving forward because number of scam projects also available in the market so many peoples are fear to invest on ICO platform and some promising platforms are easily identify in this forum so some ICO are going to moon in future.

I think major that caused this situation is the overall bear market almost all the ico coins listing on exchanges are trading way below ico prices indicating that ico is not a good investment at the moment, ico market will also improve as soon as market recovers.

That was supposed to happen in the long run as ICO's has ruptured lot of investment from the loyal investors! If they would have kept the city clean then more and more residents would have been stayed back and everything could have been green.

But those greedy devs never made it upto the quality but just for their benefits they got the fund raiser and left the world. This way many scams started happening and people got robbed literally! So why would they trust it now, why would they put their money into it if they know they can get scammed after they do so?

May be the hype will come but it will take huge patience to regain the trust of investors.

due to the inceasant scam activities ongoing in the ICO section of the technology, most investors have either packed up or lost faith in the business as most of their investments have become ghosts and cannot  be found again. that can actually tiring for them.

Yes, this is mainly because a lot of people make ICO scams, leaving too many investors losing money. Such a project will eventually hurt investors' enthusiasm. I don't think ICO is the best investment now.

It seems a lot of potential investors are getting more cautious (because of scams and many downfall of ico based projects) also fear about the uncertainty of regulations is reaching ATH since we see many international scale ICO crackdowns recently by NSAA and SEC. I hope regulation will come in and make the crypto market grow again with governments support.

I think it depends to an investors. Some are tired to invest in ICO because of there are many too scam activities that happen in ICO's project, some are still investing and make believe in ICO especially the new ICO's that comes. Although its hard to find which is scam but we need to be more careful so that no money will lose.

Investors are not tired of ICO but simply stopped investing in meaningless projects that are then wiped out and they lose their money.  As soon as a good project will all start investing again

I'm glad people are being smarter with their money.  They should only invest in ICOs that have potential with legitimate use cases and integrity behind them.

People are ready to invest when they know that they will make a profit, their capital will grow. But now many ICO are falling after entering the market! Personally, I'll take a break from the ICO investment.

It's definitely slowed down, I think the ICOs from last year have to start to do more to attract investors back, not been many success stories so far. There's still good ICOs around though, just need to chose more carefully.

True investors will not get tired of ICO, does not matter how many ICOs are scam, there are always one ICO that has solid team, clear product and promising future. We just need to dig deep on research of the ICO. Blockchain, cryptocurrency and utility token still has bright future.

I think investors have become wiser and are starting to be able to differentiate between good projects that advance the blockchain and stupid projects whose only relationship to the blockchain is that they using it for a quick cashgrab. I see lots of projects that are having no trouble raising their hardcap because they have competent people supporting it with the skills to try and make it a success. The days of a bunch of teenagers with limited skills and no background raising millions of dollars on the back of a whitepaper are gone and I don't think that is a bad thing.

they are not tired of it, the problem is that icos are more than centralized now, take in consideration that even if you invest 100$, you need to provide a lot of information about you, passport, ID, location, and a lot of other stuff that is more than unconfortable.
