If one can not confer upon another a right which he does not himself first possess, by what means does the state derive the right to engage in behaviors from which the public is prohibited?

running testnet: Online  [alpha version right now]

Hi, would you mind posting a few screenshots of the running system?

Is the client planned to be Windows only; no multi-platform?

Hi, some screenshots will be included within the whitepaper (thats only 3 days to wait).

The client is using many OS-independent functions and some OS-dependent ones. The OS-dependent ones, however, are implemented for windows and unix. We are using MinGW/G++ as crosscompiler and QT as platform independent GUI engine.
So, yes, everything is planned to be multi-platform available.

As for the outstanding needed confirmations above this post (and PMs) please hang on maximal some few hours. Confirmations will be processed as soon as possible.

eXo_coin what do you say to people who are concerned that maybe you will release a client that looks like a brand new crypto but is actually just a new graphical front end applied to slightly modified code of an existing altcoin?

sure it does. early birds have 15% of the total coin supply divvied to them in proportion to their contribution.

eXo_coin what do you say to people who are concerned that maybe you will release a client that looks like a brand new crypto but is actually just a new graphical front end applied to slightly modified code of an existing altcoin?
You will see within the whitepaper that there are fundamental other ideas in technical architecture. So at least we would have to rewrite and change everything in an existing coin. Surely we can discuss about this point after you read the paper ;-) Without releasing code or screens before the whitepaper we cannot proove it of course. Anyway the whitepaper is only 3 days left to be released.

Right. Maybe just to add: an early-bird will get more for 1BTC than a person at 2nd or 3rd stage. That is guaranteed. So (in theory) if there would only be earlybirds and no one invest at 2nd/3rd stage, than early birds will get 15+10+5% of course. If only one person want to be 3rd-stagler then he surely will not get 5%. More info about that: Please read post #21 and #22 (page 2)
