No offense Anon, but I would totally disagree, if this is a scam, your name will be associated with it.  The fact that you are willing to escrow, post in Nxt thread, and created volume on this thread, has led many to invest directly with eXo and the OP has subtly hinted in several posts that he would prefer direct investments.  Personally, I don't think any new IPO's should be allowed on BTT, it should all be done through Crypto IPO sites.

I totally disagree. If this coin is a scam and people get their investment back from Anon, allowing escrow will be the new must-have for future IPOs.

We'll know after today.

I for one am glad that Anon136 offers his escrow services.
It's not the job of an escrow service to judge, just to hold the money in trust and he does that very well.

People, EVEN new accounts, have their own responsibility.
If you come new to a site and dump over $1000,- in an unproven venture, you are mad or at least gullible to the point of needing supervision, especially if there is an escrow around.

I would feel sorry for their loss, of course, but the bottom line for me is that you don't dump $1000,- in anything unless you know what risks you are taking and willing to take your loss with grace.

That said, I wouldn't mind getting some of these people round a poker table.

I will wait till the day is over before judging this, however.

Devs appear to be very busy ATM: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=430467.msg5284521#msg5284521
Everything will be fine Cool
+1

Also, if he was a scammer, there would be no reason at all for him to disappear now. Quite contrary, he would be writing tons of posts to convince people to invest on the last day.

I too hope this will still work out.

Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

i sort of get this feeling that more people are buying into this than otherwise would have because im here. like in their minds somehow the fact that im offering escrow here is like a gesture of approval or something. its not that at all. im not here because i thing this is a great investment opportunity, im here because this is probably a scam and im trying to save your butts! (well ok also i make 6 dollars on each escrow, and with the time it takes on average to handle one escrow, its much better than flipping burgers)

Well he won't care about new IPOs if this is a scam. Currently he is sitting on over 60 BTC in his wallets and people are still sending him money..

Not saying Anon is responsible at all.  He is providing a good service which he will make BTC.  But his association will make other naive users directly invest.  If eXo is a scam, they will really like Anon's involvement because it's brought at least 50BTC of direct investment.  I'm against people using Nxt thread to promote this project because there are many new users who will see this when it should have been irrelevant.

Exo, can you change the 50% mining in to 25% and add the 25% to the first, second and third round? That would be much more fair, knowing there are a lot of investmments made already... what do you guys think?

And btw I see a lot of newbies investing, looks like people making new accounts and investing 2 or 3 times..

I have to say that i was first interested in this by the post on the nxt thread which caught my attention. I have directly invested in exo without escrow. Ye its risky but what isnt if you want a good return. I new what the risks were and made the decission to invest. The main thing here to remeber is that you shouldnt be investing funds you cant afford to lose. For me i invested 0.5btc in exo this is spare btc i can afford to lose. I see it as a gamble like any coin i invest in. Im trearing this like i spent £175 on lottery tickets. If it materialises ive may have won abit if nothing happens exo ive lost my money but that os how gambling works.
I could invest my funds in a legit business that happens to fail in its first year i would lose my imvestment. So ask yourselves first if this is a scam can i live without my investment. If the answer is no then stay well away.
Personally i have a few ipo investments and see it as if one succeeds( which nxt already has for me) i can re cover the losses from the others. Good luck people its a lary world this crypto lark

IF people do that, it's refusing to take responsibility for their own actions.

i see what you are getting at, but it's still evading their own responsibility, especially because Anon is providing escrow.

That's like going to Niagara Falls and wanting to cross it on a tightrope.
Someone trusted offers you a net and based on that offer you decide it's safe to try to cross it without a net.

Please read:

The huge response and investments were not expected at this point of time. Thank you all! However there are more PMs and mails than I can answer even if I only going to answer PMs all day long... (more than 150 PMs in 24hours)
We have a fulltime job besides this project as well ;-) We are going to deliver the whitepaper on-time, however, please understand that I will not answer most of the PMs before monday/tuesday. Of course you will be early-bird but the confirmation might take that long (if you have a confirmation of Anon or another escrow provider: that confirmation is good enough anyway!). Because we have to work on the project itself as well ;-)

All questions regard technical details or proof of concept will not be answered before the release of the whitepaper for the same reason. We will provide the address for the 2nd stage on tuesday or wednesday so we have time to catch up all early-bird investments, reorganize data an so on. Maybe we will start a discussion about the whitepaper first, answer questions, rework the whitepaper then and start the 2nd stage thereafter. We do not have to rush to the 2nd stage. If the 2nd stage is some days shorter it will not hurt anybody Wink We will have to delay the open beta as well (->march) or maybe we will do an open alpha first on scheduled time.

Thanks to all supporters and that you can understand that the response knocked us out quite a bit as for now. Feedback is amazing! You will receive a working product or get your money back. We promise you that (for every BTC/LTC that is in our wallet, we cannot stand this promise for escrowed transactions obviously since we cannot access those coins).

your eXocoin team

With all due respect, we need some communication. There is much talk of scam from many investors. All you need to do to quell the worry is a statement now and again as well as deliverables. We have seen no statement since the above.

Please address:

1) Round 1 closure
2) White paper release

These two would be a brilliant start. Cheers...

Well... that is what I will be associating your name with...  DEFINITELY!!!    Kiss

Same. Please do NOT associate anon with eXo if this turns out bad. Following the same logic, you could blame BTT. I personally wish we had an anon136 in every IPO.

Not saying Anon is responsible at all.  He is providing a good service which he will make BTC.  But his association will make other naive users directly invest.  If eXo is a scam, they will really like Anon's involvement because it's brought at least 50BTC of direct investment.  I'm against people using Nxt thread to promote this project because there are many new users who will see this when it should have been irrelevant.

i was kind of hoping that my name would be associated with saving 93 peoples butts from getting scammed if this turns out to be a scam. Undecided

you may become a hero. congrats Grin

All people who thinks this is a scam, please, wait only a few hours.

Later, keep quiet or laugh for eternity.

I don't think it. If I want to scam, the last that I need is one person with trust to pay back to the users my booty.
