We are over the course of correction only. Last year prices were hiked to the hottest peaks ever but that was unexpected hike or many says that it was perfect stepped up manipulation that was done earlier. This led the market to receive out of the box volume which it wasn't supposed to get in first place but it did.
This happened with all the crypto currencies and thus now they all are getting corrected to the right prices. For ETH 400-500 USD has always been base price and thus I dont think it will drop beyond this rates.

It's normal for some to rise more or less but the maths becomes more important in the longer run.

This price drop over all the crypto currencies are really bad for the investors you need to wait for some months and then we will find the good growth in the price of btc, ethereum and all top alts mate.
I am mining ethereum with nanopool because of mining efficiency seems good but profit very little bro.

I consider Ethereum as one of the altcoins who definitely has the potential of its value maturing in the future. Like what you mentioned, since ethereum has shown positive price increase despite being down from time-to-time, then give it some time. Price decreases are normal in the cryptocurrency world as its volatility and decentralized nature dictate its price. Though there may be some factors, those are primarily what makes its price controlled in the market.

I agreed on you that the influence of bitcoin to altcoins is very strong, I think that the reason why ethereum will remain decreasing at this moment in the market cap. No doubt with ethereum, this coin has a great technology that mostly ICO's project used. So, there's no reason we wait for long term for ethereum price as long as bitcoin will raise I am pretty assure that ethereum were quickly follow too.
I never doubt this coin besides, I am now starting collecting and investing into this ethereum.

All falling coin prices include ethereum, it is a common correction due to the nature of the crypto fluctuations. I think the ethereum will be able to get through it well, because ethereum is an altcoin that has the potential and a bright future. A drop in the price of ethereum up to $ 500 is normal. Looking at the history of last year, I believe the ethereum will show a high price this year. So, holding it is a wise choice.

Bitcoin price action determines the market movement. Right now, market is too young and no one is trying to value other coins than BTC. Institutional money is waiting to enter BTC. If BTC can gain institutional recognition and become store of value, perhaps a decoupling could take place where each coin is valued fundamentally and market doesn't move according to BTC. Right now, I think more correction is due but that won't be a deep one. You can hodl right now with a stop loss of 10%. I expect BTC to jump back after touching $5800 and their won't be any further correction. So, a stop loss of 10% can save you.

If Bitcoin moves then the market moves along with it in most cases, the only significant and consistent example of a crypto not doing that is Tether where it remains relatively the same on a consistent basis (because that's what its supposed to do). Whether we like it or not, Bitcoin is still a major indicator of the crypto-economy at large and it will influence all other cryptos in the direction that it takes. Good or bad.

Ethereum is not the only coin in the market seeing correction, almost all top coin are also seeing correction, it is a natural phenomenon which btc and top altcoins can't avoid.

It all depends on Bitcoin. If it falls by $ 3,000, then Ethereum, even with the best news, will also go to the bottom. Here we can only wait for a general market turn to make some positive forecasts.

I think that ethereum itself is just following the price trend of bitcoin right now just like all other altcoins, there is no way to tell if this will be a continous downtrend because if you remember correctly, we have been here before and then the price recover so much that the price of bitcoin was actually just shy of 10k, so like always we would have to wait and see.
