trading and holding works the same for me there is a slight difference between two, you can trade if the price goes and up and down also same with holding you can earn if the price goes up but you can lose if the price goes down it is better to trade rather than hold your money and wait until the price having a good value soon.

A Bit of both is much more safe because day trading can be very lucrative if you have a decent amount of money to invest in it ( not considering crypto leverage trading )and MOST IMPORTANT, you know what you are doing which comes from practice, Also you can diversify your investments through doing a deep research on coins/tokens with "Great Expectations" that convince You not the person that writes the article about that coin/token.

In my opinion now better buy and HODL TOP 20 coins. Not buy temporarily ICO tokens, because them price very strong less after ICO.

If you have got better mindset for ICOs and you think this is better for you than trading and investing in some coin, go for it. Do not forget emotional control, and this aspect is very important.
Many people underestimate this, but this is very important and affect your trade.
Patience, Carelessness and Greedy are part of the trade that must be controlled.

The cryptocurrency market is a very unpredictable one and very volatile, and in order to succeed and make profit in this market you have to adapt to it, so sometimes buying and selling might be the right choice and sometime just holding on to it is better, so you can't have one particular strategy that is always going to guarantee you the win, however holding might seems like the safer and easy route, but in some cases it may not always lead to profit.

HODL pays if you do not know how to trade, but if you can trade, you will actually be making more in the long run anyway. The essence of trading is to take advantage of the fluctuations and all in all, you are still going to be making a lot anyway at the end of the day whereas in holding, you are doing nothing but just holding through all the fluctuations in between irrespective of what happens in the market.

Being smart in trading thing have got more value than being strong and being wise. There are people who can’t just make up to the right time because they are not. Sometimes being wise doesn’t work here. Rather you need to be flexible and sharp minded to just cater and observe the change and reasoned to it as soon as possible and in better way. In fact, holding is even more risky as you stand to either profit a lot or lose a lot in the long term. Traders benefit more from the fluctuations in the short term as well as the huge increase in the long term as well. I got into trading because I could not look at my portfolio going up in huge percentage and coming back down in huge percentage when I could have taken advantage of that to hold more position in those coins to have a huge increase in the long run than just holding all through.

I might prefer trading. it is a short-term opportunity that can make a lot of money. But, most people prefer to buy and hold. it is because they feel that the potential of a coin will appear if it is held for a long time. well, i also do that often.
