WTS 144 - what's the going rate ?
Diff very High, so price should be high..
I think that you can sell your 144 for 0.2BTC..

I solo mined for like 30 minutes right after launch and hit 4 blocks so I have 72 of these... you're saying they're currently worth $1.11 each?  Shocked Guess I shouldn't have stopped mining them last night  Embarrassed
Yes because the difficult is 330 now, so VERY DIFFICULT to mine.!
The first minute mining for cpu coin are very important!!
in any case you would find only other 4-8blocks not more Wink

I was using GPU...  just noticed difficulty retarget every 8 blocks so you're right, I probably wouldn't have hit that many more if I'd continued mining... 1 mil max coins? .. should I just forget I have these until they hit an exchange?

I've got 800+ coins mining for the last 24 hrs and have hit 2.5 blocks in the last hour.

With only a million coins, this is worth persevering with - I'm aiming for a 1000th overall share at least.

Edit:

Running 2x R9 280x, around 720kh/s each.

Edit Edit:

Just hit block 50, you should mine this   Wink

I'm running two R9 270x, usually get 420kh/s each ... I thought the current difficulty would be too high to make solo mining even worth it?

It probably would be a waste of time, but since total coins is only a million you're getting a much larger share than usual.

I'll let it run through for a couple hours and see if I hit a block... if you're still hitting 1-2 blocks every hour at 1540kh/s at this difficulty I'd assume I'd be able to hit one every two hours at 840kh/s ... unless I don't really have a clue what I'm talking about  Cheesy.... $9/hr would be 24x more profitable than mining doge right now

after something like 1-1/2-2 hours I just now hit another block... so this is still more profitable than anything else at this difficulty

When mining from wallet, how do you know you hit a block?

All I can see is that:

getmininginfo

{
"blocks" : 5687,
"currentblocksize" : 1000,
"currentblocktx" : 0,
"difficulty" : 253.21802128,
"errors" : "",
"generate" : true,
"genproclimit" : -1,
"hashespersec" : 2675081,
"pooledtx" : 0,
"testnet" : false
}

listtransactions to see immature coins (blocks that you have mined, but are not yet spendable). Once matured, they will appear on getbalance or getinfo.

it appear on you wallet

I have been mining for more than two hours with ~2600 kh/s (8 core processor) and still nothing appears. Is this normal?

If you're only using a CPU id assume it'll be a while before you hit a block if any... I'm running the GPU miner listed earlier in this thread which is telling me 250MH/s and I'm only hitting a block every hour and a half or so... I don't know how MH/s differs from KH/s due to this coin not being scrypt but I'm running 2x R9 270x which pulls roughly 820kh/s on average

Is it normal to have a high reject rate with a 270x and ccc 13.11?

This post sums up why all this bullshit is a scam

I'm not getting any rejects with my 270x's ....  are you using this miner? https://github .com/reorder/poclbm-skc/blob/master/py2exe/poclbm-skc-win.zip?raw=true ... because I originally tried mining this with GUIminer-scrypt and all it gave me was rejects

sort of

I built poclbm-skc from source (xubuntu 13.10) and have never used any flavor of this python miner. Reading through this thread seems like I am doing something wrong cause the miner is showing my rate at 130mh/s on the single card.

Its telling me 256mh/s on two cards... but I'm hitting blocks so I know its working for me.... is it telling you the shares are rejected or just not showing anything? ... because it just gives me the cmd window telling me I'm hashing for a long time and nothing else but a black screen... then randomly pops up telling me I found a block
