Should we teach children to have businessman mentality or be successful employee

We all have that thought why do Chinese people actually make it in the business world. The reason apparently is that at an early age, their parents are conditioning the minds of their children to do business in the hopes that they will actually be heirs to their family business.
In your opinion, should we be teaching them the same or teaching them to be successful employees for the sake of climbing up the economic ladder?

Teaching children about the real life skills like this is not a right time for a reason that at a young age they should be enjoying this life but if I saw some potential on them I go for teaching children a business mentality rather than teaching them to be a successful employees because by doing so you also teach them on how to wisely gain money freely. You also educate them to be independent and aquiring a strong decision skills and be strategic.

I think teaching them both the skills can be grateful in the long run. We dont know the future of the kids. They are very confused until the age of graduation and thus they cant really decide what they have to do it really. So we should keep teaching them both the skills and when the time will come then they will choose the right thing for themselves. This way it becomes easier for them and they will never ever complaint about our child care. 
I think the best way to surpass this situation is to talk with them and let them know what they really want in their life.

Can be done but not in depth.Just explain the responsibility that needs to be practiced to be a successful businessman. Nothing wrong in initiating such lessons earlier then needed. Do not force or insist in studying. Let them learn if they are interested. But this is too early for children learn being a business man or an employee.

I disagree it is never too early, most people will spend most of their life chasing money, after all most of the time spent in school is just a way to prepare yourself to earn money and if you do not teach them from an early age about money and all the things related to it to form good habits when they are little, it may be too late if you decide to give them that advice when they are adults.

Teaching children of something new wont affect their childhood as long as we as parents knows how far we should teach team. There should be a limit, we may introduce it about it first and lets see their reaction. If they are interested to hear what we talk about then we can go further but if they are not interested then just stop it.
We should also take the best time to introduce it, at least dont do it too early. Maybe starting from when they are in Junior High School is good time to introduce about business.

I believe so.We should not force a person to do it that way,instead let him develop his own skills in any of the fields he has chosen.Having a business mentality is more on a hereditary trait,but i believe it can also be studied if a certain person has his own will and determination to learn.

I think both can be taught, but it depends on their level of readiness to learn and grasp the whole idea. If children develop good financial abilities from an early age then they'll be ready for the financial troubles when they grow up. It's essential for personal development to build a strong foundation and teaching them about the basics of a handling money, such as spending, budgeting, savings and making it a habit for it can give a sense of responsibility. Nevertheless, we should guide them, teach them in a way they'll not abuse it, and to be more disciplined.

Teach them work ethics and they'll choose what they want to do in their life. Of course, no one really wants to work in a sweatshop but those are mostly uneducated or those who have no other choice.

i do not think anyone should be tough with the goal of being a businessman or an employee but unfortunately many countries values he qualification more than the knowledge. there are even some schools and collages where students do not even know about the subject and yet they are getting graduated with a good grade. What is the point on being educated when you do not learn anything. I believe students should learn whatever they want to any that interest will help them to make their lives.

I personally teach mine to have both. You need to be a great employee and go from the bottom step by step to became a successful businessman

This reminded me the initiative the Chinese government introduced in 2016 when they asked the schools to start teaching the kids economics and business tips and tricks and teach them the values of money right from their childhood. The policy was however rejected by schools on the grounds that this would lead to materialistic society in future. Actually kids should be allowed to explore their own capabilities and should not be forced towards a particular field to pursue.

actually our children have there own path and choices in life on how to become independent someday,but teaching our children into have a bussinesman mentality is good than become a successfull employee because being a bussinessman you can create your own world that no one could  command you in whatever you do,because your the boss in your own time,unlike an employee you wake up early to go work in your company,and at the end you earn only a penny money of your working job,so therefore its much more secure to teach our children to have a entrepreneurs mentality especially in digital currency investment.

Chinese people are very business minded. Their family business is more important than their education. Some of their children are willing to not go to school just to help and learn in their business and their parents are allowing it. I don't think this is a good idea. I have friends that are chinese, some of them are very rude because they were not taught the correct manners that can be learned in school. I think business is important, but they have to study first before entering their business world.

Yes being a businessman gives us a chance to work freely without a bosses that commands us and also we can have a chance to improve the lives of other people. It is good that we teach our children about businessman mentality in order to develop their skills and help their to improve their ideas in terms of business. It is better to have a business than to be a successful employees on which didn't have a chance to earn much profit and can't give services to the other people that possibly help their lives on which businessman can do.

Not everyone was created to be a successful businessman, some were born to lead whiles others were born to follow so the parents should just teach the children just how to be successful people in the future either as businessmen or employees.

We should teach them both. And let them choose what they want to become in the future. We can not decide our own children's career. They have to make their own decision. Forcing your kids to follow your dream or your rules will cause a lot of troubles in the future.

Teaching our children to be a business mind are great because they will learn how to be indepent and make decision wisely and especially to handel money wisely but come to think of it. In my opinion, we will be teaching our children both on how to become a good employee and on how to do business. The two must be teach and it will be dependent on the child as to what he is inclined to or what will interest him.
