We all believe in the future of bitcoin,so there's no need to read such articles.
This guy is kinda wrong about eth.Blaming ethereum for all the scammy ICOs is a completely wrong logic.
It's like blaming BTC for all the BTC scams online and for all the criminals,who are using it for payments.
All the scammy ICOs won`t stop the ethereum price to go up,the ethereum whales will stop the ETH growth.

I am really not sure yet if I can still believe BITCOIN will hit 20k. I think many of the early adopters are slowly selling out as soon as the market goes up a little bit, they sell. The big people and whales now are not allowing for a market recovery so everyone discussing a new bull run coming is making me nervous because whenever they say things like this to FOMO then this is when they are just selling off their holdings. I do not trust the media anymore or these so called experts because the last six months have been hellish for the markets.

Maybe there are other factors which contributes to the low price of ethereum. The ICOs can't take the blame for this one but rather you should be blaming about the mischievous individuals who exists in the cryptocurrency market. But, I agree with you that bitcoin can reach 20000 USD this year because last year was just a setup for the best yet to come.

there is no doubt about reaching $20k and above for bitcoin, the doubt is always about "WHEN" it is going to reach that price. and all the arguments is about that too. some say it will be this year and by the end of the year it will be at $25k setting a new record. some say it will take a longer time and the discussions continue but all of them agree that the rise will take place.

as for ETH that you mentioned the ICO thing is a good point. and it will happen. there will come a day where you don't see any more ICOs be created just like we don't see new coins with huge premines being created these days. there will be only one or two every now and then. and the price of ETH depends 100% on ICOs so it will fall hard.

Great I like Bogart then! I love it when people does talk about the bitcoin and other crypto's in positive ways as it fulfils the world of crypto with up surges. If it comes from the big personality then off course it is something genuine.

Obviously it is known that blockchain will keep evolving itself and thus crypto's on it will grow too. However in the long run, we just need some pushes like this to keep motivating people. Otherwise we know how the community is filled with FUDers.

$20k is still a huge possibility. But just like what other people said in this thread, it's just a matter of "when". It could be next year, it could be in 5 years, it could be in 20 years, etc. No one knows. But take note, that while it's likely to reach $20k at some point, take note that it isn't guaranteed.

As of now while the markets are once again bleeding, lets focus on the actually technology of bitcoin and cryptocurrencies in general.

It is possible to reach 20.000 in this year. But 10.000 usd point is hard to be broken.
Anyway, we all hope it can back to 20.000 or at least 14000 usd this year.

i don't think if bitcoin can reach 20k this year. because one of the reason why we use bitcoin is because of the low transaction fee. we know what happen to to the fee when  bitcoin was upto 20k.[the fee was very high] and again too, some country never agree for bitcoin to be used or allowed in their country.
