I don't care about what is happening right now because I'm focused on my goal and I really believe that bitcoin can hit that price again and go higher. People should still be optimist despite of this dumping market, we see this dumping market this year so many times so people should start moving on and keep your eyes in long term profit is still possible anyway.

I wouldn't be in the business if I didn't believe in it.
It's debatable if it'll reach 20k or 100k but it should pass the 10k mark pretty soon.
ETH is going to survive alongside BTC so I wouldn't pay too much attention bad news related to it.

Bitcoin getting to 20,000 usd is far from the current price but since it was in that range just some few months ago means it is still possible for it to get there in few months to come too. I am optimistic that it will get there soon before we enter next year.

Long time holders and people who actually believe in BTC know that the 20k target is possible in the long run. I think optimism is still intact, people are still discussing about what the price is going to be at the end of the year, 99% of them say the price will continue its upward movement, so even with a bearish sentiment surrounding the market people still think that the price will go up. Newcomers who bought at +9k a few weeks ago probably don't know what's happening right now, but, hopefully, these kind of articles can spread a bit of positivity and optimism among the weak hands.

I do not trust the media anymore or these so called experts because the last six months have been hellish for the markets.

 For me the situation  of the market nowadays is very unpredictable which is we have no idea if the growth rate of bitcoin still have a potential to reach the Ath value again due to some causes as of now that always exist when the value of bitcoin surge, which is the growth rate can't even surpass new ATH and always swing back because of that reason.

It will come back eventually but the real question would always be when? we can speculate because that how we form any conclusions as to what would be the price in a certain date, ETH was also infested with scam ICO's as it is easy to create your own tokens through the ERC20 smart contracts built by eth blockchain is given that you have some basic technical knowledge about smart contracts and the asset/token creations it needs a proper regulation to save those new investors.

Of course Bitcoin will hit the $20k again. However when it will happen, I don't know. And this is not really important imo.
But the last thing I would do to keep myself positive about Bitcoin would be reading MSM articles.
There are tons of great sources in the crypto space who are way more reliable. You just need to read articels by Aaron van Wirdum and Kyle Torpey and you will always be up to date in terms of Bitcoin's fundamentals and the actual state of the technology.

I believe the future of bitcoin will be better and of course bitcoin will be able to reach the price of 20k, and it's just a matter of time. And because of that trust I hold the bitcoin I have.

Still we can reach $20k buy end of this year if the crazy run starts like what happened in 2017 but now the bitcoin price is sinking down due to lot of bad news about crypto and regulations from many governments but that good thing is that more people now getting know about the crypto currencies.

Of course this guy is going to say "buy bitcoin", since he's a blockchain venture capitalist.  What's surprising is the list of coins he's saying to buy and sell.  I don't know if I trust those kinds of lists coming from big shots in the industry, since he's not looking out for anyone else besides himself when it comes to the market.  What I'm thinking is that he's saying to buy btc, ripple, and eth because he's looking to sell some of those coins.  That's usually how these people operate, right?

Bitcoin could certainly hit its all time high again and I do think it will, but think about how far it has to go from where it's at now.  The price basically has to triple, and that's a tall order for anything.  My guess is that it's going to take probably at least a year or maybe more.

There is nothing to lose we keep on hoping that Bitcoin will hit $20,000. In business, being positive will always bring good ideas. However, when it comes to investment, you will gain if you will become practical. Set a specific target profit so that you will know when to sell.  Let us not wait that the price will become $ 20,000.

Since bitcoin is completely independent from the fiat system, as long as fiat continues to lose value through inflation (which it will, in the long run), then bitcoin will hit $20k eventually, even if demand for bitcoin stays the same. It's really a matter of sooner or later.

For me, I don't think that this is happening this year. The markets are way too bearish for a full blown bull market to initiate. There may be several rallies (just like the April rally), however, they will generally be short lived and followed by a correction.

I'm much more confident in a bull market happening near 2020. It's not necessarily going to hit $20k, as that is quite a large figure and a result of an overheated, FOMO buyer filled market, but even if it doesn't, it'll be close imho.

Though we say it could be possible to happen but we really don't know when exactly. It could be a long wait for that to happen again seeing how market move( slow). Strong hold would be the thing to do to those people whoa are buying bitcoin at high price as it could be a big loss for them if the sell it today.

It will eventually hit 20k for sure I am very optimistic about it, it is just about the trend of market we have been in a bear market and once this cycle ends we will see huge rally and then those articles and statements about bitcoin hitting million dollars will start popping out and the FOMO will kick in and we will witness parabolic rally just like in 2017. Fundamentals have not changed and rather it has become stronger now so there is no reason to think otherwise than bullish for the market.

You really need to be specific when stating your points because from the look of things. Some altcoins may note be as prominent, versatile,  sort of accepted , coverting and have this huge awareness like bitcoin because bitcoin is the mastermind behind other cryptocurrency.

It's too optimistic for ETH to raise to 20k.
