= BETA LAUNCH UPDATE 3 =

Well here we are the end of another day and we thought it was time to mix it up a bit. This update will be more about screenshots than words.

But before those screenshots begin I can say we knocked off about 50% of the to do list from Update 2 yesterday. It would have been more if it wasn't some dodgy European fibre Internet connection!

There are 9 coins enabled as you can see with 2 more almost ready in the background.

= PROGRESS UPDATE - JUNE 12th =

PART 1....

Hello Community,

We hope you are all well.

The MCT team have been working around 18 hours per day on the Platform to bring you all a better and safer experience. We try to talk with you in Discord when we can, but hope you understand we need to keep on working on the Software.
This afternoon we took a time out to hold a team meeting and we discussed in detail the following two issues:

    1) Progress on the MCT Trading Platform.
    2) MCT Exchange Listing.

The following are the main points from those discussions that we wanted to share with you all.

= MCT Trading Platform

Firstly, a lot of new code has been written and below is a simplified summary of what has been done so far:

    1) Rebuilt the process of how users get their coin addresses.
    2) Internal Balance handling has been changed.
    3) The processes responsible for Withdraws has been recoded to work in a more secure manner.
    4) A new system to deal with incoming funds has been built with many more checks taking place throughout the process.

All of these have obviously taken us a good 2+ days so far and now we have to move on to other errors the community reported and that we found ourselves. This is going to take use further time before we carry out some internal testing. If this is successful, the system will then be switched back on.

In the mean time we will continue to update you all but you can be assured we are hard at work on this.

PART 2....

= Exchange Listing

We have seen from Crypto Bridge’s Discord Channel they are under a lot of pressure and a number of their users are clearly very unhappy. Our position remains that we hope they will soon get on top of the current issues and their service will return to normal in the coming days which will allow for our coin to be listed.

That said we feel it would be prudent to look at alternatives in case this situation does not improve. We are now beginning to do this and will also open a separate channel called ‘exchange listing’ to listen to any recommendations. At this stage we are just investigating in case we need a Plan B; our Plan A is to continue with Crypto Bridge as soon as they are ready.

Obviously, things like listing fees need to be taken into account, but we need a reliable Exchange with larger volumes of trade.

Hello Community,

We wanted to let you all know what we are coming towards the end of our coding work to deal with the issues we originally mentioned on Sunday. We expect to complete this work over the weekend and are on track to begin internal testing on Sunday evening. If this all goes well the Platform should be back up and running again on Tuesday.

Initially during the restart of the Beta Platform there maybe interruptions for maintenance work.

= TRADING PLATFORM UPDATE =

Hello Community,

Just a quick update to let you know we are now testing the Trading Platform internally with all the code changes made over the last week. We have found some things already that we need to tweak, and we estimate this will add another day to our work. It’s our preference to announce this now so you are all kept up to date.

Once we complete this internal testing and carry out the modifications as required, we plan to open up some final testing to a few select members of the Community who have skills/experience in the relevant areas. The present target for this part of the release process is Tuesday and subject to that testing being completed we will go live soon after.

In the mean time below are just a couple of screen shots from some small tweaks we made to the Trading Platform. Please note, most of what we have been working on is not something that we can show as it is the core trading code! After the relaunch of the Beta we totally expect to have to modify or improve some of the functionality. We have a long list of things to do to enhance the user experience, but first we needed a secure and stable Trading Platform to build on. We are in this for the long run.
