im getting accepts but no shares on the pool  we need a new pool

I don't know whether you're referring to http://gabencoin.p2p.0x0a.nl:57883 , but I realized that I had made some mistakes with the share difficulty variables! I would still appreciate some expertise from the p2pool gurus, but I think I've got the right values now. Not only does the pool now correctly recognize hash rate, getting a share is also much easier!

So far I've only seen one other miner pass by in the logs, and then only because he was mining for the wrong algorithm.. Bottom line, I have no idea how many other people tried to mine and just  never got a share. To those who wasted time on my miscreant of a pool, please let me know; I hope to be able to make it up somehow. My sincerest apologies!

I think it's going to be OK, mostly troubling is the thought that the shares that have been found so far (3 in total) might be incompatible with the now corrected values. Various sources suggest starting over with a fresh p2pool (i.e. data directory if no other nodes exist yet), but that would be a waste of the 1 'spare' block found so far. And though I think any hiccup that those first three shares may cause in the payout will smooth out soon enough, the three corresponding spikes kind of mess up the graph, which makes it look less than encouraging but I'm confident we'll get past all that.
