We chose NEO for many reasons, EOS was not a viable option at the time, and ETH doesn't serve our long term needs. That said, most major exchanges allow the free exchange of any major cryptocurrency, which is why we settled on a single platform for our ICO, rather than multiple.

Understanding Blockchain in Context
As decentralized applications (use cases that conduct services using blockchain) are beginning
to pose a disruptive threat to various industries, businesses and institutions around the world are

how imusify will utilize blockchain to disrupt the music economy, it is important to first understand
the evolution of blockchain technology, and the narratives that have emerged alongside it.
Blockchain was originally designed to instill a provable form of trust when conducting transactions,
rendering the “trusted intermediary” unnecessary. In 2009, “blockchain” was born when Bitcoin’s
genesis block was mined2
. This meant that the first block of the first blockchain came into
existence. “Mining” refers to a process where computers collect a batch of transactions, encrypt
them, and then use their computing power to confirm the group of transactions. Each group of
transactions mined creates a new “block” in the blockchain. At this time, blockchain existed solely
as the technology behind the Bitcoin cryptocurrency and for the next few years blockchain was only
understood by a select group of early crypto enthusiasts. During this period, ideas as to how bitcoin
and other cryptocurrencies might deliver value began to emerge. People began paying for random
goods and services in bitcoin, the excitement around its potential grew, and soon the speculative
value of bitcoin began to rise. As the first blockchain startups emerged and a new network of

I am not quite getting this decentralise music system ? Why would you need to decentralise it ?

We need to decentralize the music industry because artists are struggling. The digital music streaming world may be good for the music lovers, but they hardly know much about how much artists earn from the plays.

The IMU token serves not only as the key utility to our platform, but also as a bridge between the crypto-economy and traditional fiat payment systems. The IMU token will allow our users to exchange value- within our unique marketplace- between other creators and service providers around the world, eliminating several inefficiencies of international fiat transactions.

We are also committed to using the universal language of music to educate the public about blockchain and cryptocurrency. The presence of the IMU token is vital to this process, as token incentives motivate people to learn and realize the value of the utility token on our platform.

The token is being sold to the public via ICO in order to fund imusify's operational, legal, development and marketing overhead costs.
