I decided to become the maintainer of this coin since there have been no updates to the wallet in a long time and the git repository for this coin does not show any signs of improvement!
You can get updated wallet sources from:
https://github.com/66maintainer/66coin

I will offer a bounty of 0.0066 (that is 100 blocks) 66 from my personal funds for whoever compiles a running windows wallet from these updated sources (unless it's the original developers, they're already much richer than me and they should be the ones supporting and updating this coin) windows wallet was already built, waiting for address to send bounty to

Current update includes:
 - the initially specified 6.6x random block rewards that were never included until now
 - update also includes Kimoto Gravity Well algorithm for dificulty retargeting

There will be a hardfork to introduce these changes at block 32000 (in about 55 hours from this post) - that's longer than 2 days... until that time the wallet can coexist with currently running nodes, after that point old wallets will have to go away.

Next update will have limit on the number of coins to 66 and all kinds of patches from other sources to address possible vulnerabilities in the network.

In order to support further developments of this coin's wallet by me please start mining on my pool at http://dig.coinage.ro with 0% fee and please choose to donate at least 0.1%... Alternatively you can simply donate to any of the addresses in my signature.

These changes have been tested on a private testnet and are working (appologies for missing from mining on my own pool but I was testing the behaviour of KGW)... although KGW was only test for a few hours so it may be slightly off but it's definitely close to what should be.

I'm in the process of compiling a windows wallet my friend , you have done a great service to the entire 66 community , who were loosing hope on 66 as well as on it's initial as well as greedy developers who have failed the 66 Community as well 66 coin many times in a row and has dissapointed everyone just the same.
