I have been looking for the past two days for a multipool easy to use, and with good and easy to read stats like wafflepool but I found nothing, the three I used to use gone, first hashco, then trademybit now waffle is offline (hopefully not for long) i am mining in a specific-coin pools now, but really like coin-switching better Smiley, will try nicehash but not sure... too bad clever is scrypt only Sad

Nicehash is doing fine, at least here.

If others take the chance to advertise other pools, here are some pools I recommend:

https://coinking.io (merge mining)
https://hash-to-coins.com (no fees)
http://www.coinmine.pw (good profit switch)

If you're looking for a new pool, check out Suchmoon's profitability thread:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=514242.0

I ended up moving to NiceHash for scrypt mining after having a good experience with them during the Paycoin excitement. I didn't mine Paycoin, but made a lot of profit renting to those that did.

Was I helpful?   BTC: 3G1Ubof5u8K9iJkM8We2f3amYZgGVdvpHr

I ended up using http://www.simplemulti.com

If Waffle ever comes back, it will still be my top Altcoin pool with SimpleMulti as backup.

So far I like it, I will give it a try to simplemulti.com and nicehash.com

I tried coinking.io and coinme.pw and didn't like it much, don't know about hash-to-coins.com but I don't like the "no fees", smells fishy, after all, pool ops needs to eat!, and server renting, bandwidth, ddos protection, all that is expensive, and someone has to pay for it, how do you pay for it if you charge nothing?.

all that is backup for me of course, wafflepool.com will be still primary as always (well except when i mine FTC and VTC Cheesy)

@edonkey: thank you, i haven't seen that, very helpful! Suchmoon's profitability thread

thank you for all the recommendations Smiley

And hopefully Suchmoon will soon add our multi-algo profitability ... our multi-algo is proven to give the best profits for GPU miners because it switches among all the best algorithms. Check out https://www.nicehash.com/index.jsp?p=multialgo

For some reason my post regarding using SimpleMulti as a backup pool was deleted by the moderators.  All fine and good, but a bit unfair considering it was absolutely on topic while Wafflepool is down for the count, and all other posts by others linking off to other pools are still here. I guess it's ok when it involves pools that advertise here, but whatever...

PLEASE!!! Just launch wafflepool as soon as possible! I don't even need my lost payout (about 0.1btc) I just want to continue my mining process, because for those days while waffle stays broken i've already lost much more profit than 0.1btc!

So let me get this straight, because the pool is down you're not mining?  There are dozens of other profit switching pools out there!!!  I really liked Wafflepool, but it goes down I switch to another pool!!!
I'm mine! I'm not such a idiot, but my profit is low on other pools i don't know why

Because scrypt is going downhill, sha256 is somewhat profitable and unless you're mining X11 you wont be seeing any real profits. The pool doesn't really matter much atm when it comes to scrypt mining.

I'd be very surprised if everyone hasn't already moved on. Think PW has pretty much lost his business at this point. I'll continue to monitor this thread though and if he comes back on I might switch back.

hi all ...

there are a lot of 'nice' pools out there ... wafflepool was one of them ...

reliable pools that have been mining and profit sharing for quite a while are the ones that you really need to look at ... the rest should be used as backups ...

the 3 main that i use in this order for my farm ( and the farm is about to get 3 times as big as it is now - in the process as i type this ) are -

1 - coinking.io
2 - yaamp.com
3 - nicehash / westhash

the mining is done through a proxy - so its all consolidated ... all other mining by the farm is done when a specific coin is to be mined ...

this is not often - but if its the same algo as all the workers of the farm - the all it takes is a change in the proxy settings ...

i hope wafflepool comes back on - its a good choice for a multi ... but for continous mining while its away - the pools earlier is what i would recommend ...

if that is the case - then this thread should be stated as so - and locked / closed ...

its a pity - wafflepool was good ...

Last post from poolwaffle was Dec 21 stating that he was trying to restore the database.  Last activity according to the forum was Feb 10 (maybe just logged in to read).

What's going on?  Why the silence?  I'm sure everyone moved on, but it'd be nice to know the process and if the pool is ever coming back up.  Or maybe poolwaffle have personal issues preventing him from doing anything with the pool or this forum.
