Nope, it is still premature that has a lot of rooms for improvements, scams are the ones who are destroying the trust of the possible investors projecting some bad images to the people who are hearing or reading the news online or on the TV, ICO Projects are likely needed to be regulated to avoid those scums to take the investors money and trust.

Despite the fact that many of ICO nowadays turned to be scam did not mean that ICO investment is dead though it's very risky now but there are still real profitable ICO project that can put a smile on your face such as PAYERA.IO, HASHRENTAL.IO, LIKECOIN, DACSEE to mention few. It's not dead, just cryptomarket is suffering now, with cash flow depleted. People got spoiled with bitcoin price grow and less interested now. And I noticed price manipulation became so often. Yes not all ico were dead but the facts there are many scams project. Our responsibility before we invest investigate first if the Ico is really profitable after their Ico date. Somehow depends on ethereum price if up then mostly if good projects Ico were successful so the more investors attracted on their Ico definitely it will be successful.

ICO investment is not dead and it still grows until now although today it's more difficult to them because the investor right now is trying to invest their money in the right ICO. I think the investor is getting much information about the ICO and they can choose the ICO that they want. besides that, they want to learn and search the details so they can decide to invest in what ICO.

Most of the projects are fraud thus decline in the participation.People are afraid to invest even in good projects now.

Most of the projects have now switched to private ICO,  like IOST.
They kept the ICO private and was invitation only.So serious projects can still roll.

What a question? ICO don't die, it may closed some account, with non performing asset after its ICO, campaign project did not attract investors to come in, fundamentals are weak, no support system, this are some possible reason to closed such account. Beside a lot of investors are already committed to some good project, with good fundamentals, increasing market value on the market trading of ALT coin they invested in. i would rather stick to my investment then wait for future profits.

ICO should not be changed, the important thing that must be changed by the developer is where are they working with it. I meant the developer must look at the available field. Because i was thinking the majority of developers are only recurring the existing idea or create another copycat platform time to the time and that should be changed.
