Explain to me how Yahoo knows what I do on/with Google.

The ONLY thing I use Yahoo for is for some email accounts.

Yahoo! doesn't really know what you're doing, but they are in Google Adsense ad network and with the interest based advertising within this network you'll see ads based on your web surfing habits.
