What is the weight of one "5 Chip Gridseed miner" ? we need this in order to calculate the exact "Pack and Track International" cost. Will 3 of these be less than 500g ? They are 418g each. So 3 of them would fit in a pack and track parcel. Pack and track is up to 2kg. [/quote] It will fit but the price changes according to what you select on "approximate weight of parcel". up to 500gr is $24.20 500gr - 1kg is $45.10 1kg - 1.5kg is $62.55 So for 3x418gr the weight is 1254gr which means $62.55 shipping to the UK. am I right ? How do I calculate the exchange rate from $ to BTC on shipment ?

Also keep in mind that the 5 chip devices won't ship to me until the 15th. Hi, please cancel mine 2 usb miners too. This may have already been covered. But what if any is the power source required. Does it require an external power source or is it just wall plug.
Edit: 5 Chip model.

It requires a 12V 5A power supply. Ebay has a lot of them. Or if you are running them in bulk something like this.If people want i can try and get some on hand that are available to include with packages?

Are these prices true? If so, looks like either OP or everyone here is way overpaying. 16,398 yuan = 2707.90 USD for 20 of 5 chip miners or 11,198 yuan = 1849.19 USD for 10 pieces. Granted we can't actually buy them there but that is one hell of a profit for someone.

I'm not all that interested in those steam-punk devices, but the usb sticks is more or less the same as the current coinbase rate. compared to the previous dollar pricing

At 7mh/s $2700 USD it's a steal for 20 of em. I would be willing to pay a lot more than that right now to get my hands on them. But OP wants like $6500. That's kinda crazy. For the usb sticks 7mh/s is like $8400. If you only want a few to mess around ok, but I'd rather go big. Guess i'll hold out and see how the market shapes up in the next month or so.

That is the old rate for the previous batch. The next one they have bumped the price up considerably. If they had the price lower i would pass it on.

I believe you but it's so much higher I have to pass on principle. If you can get me the 20 pack for somewhere in between those prices I would jump on it immediately.

Just for fun, can someone tell me why this makes sense from a $/KH/MH standpoint at this price? I think the GH/s number is pretty irrelevant at this point now that Cointerra and HashFast are shipping - those GH numbers these can has at will yield dust... so I'd be using them for scrypt. Maybe I'm missing something and I'd like to know if I am.
5 Chip Model (1 piece) - $350 for 350KH Radeon R9 280x - $450 for 800KH
Yes, I see that they draw less power, but it amounts (for me) to less than $1 a day difference. Yes, I know that GPU needs to be plugged into a computer, but let's just say for argument purposes that that is a sunk cost. I'm just trying to compare the hash power per dollar.
Is it just that the group buy price is a bit overpriced and that these can be had directly for significantly less?
Sorry - I'm not trying to subvert the sale - I'm sure the people that have ordered aren't going to withdraw because of my question - I'm just hoping someone could illuminate me on the value proposition here.
Thanks...

I have a GF that does not approve of large mining operations because of the noise.. Hoping to keep my hobby hashing along "under the radar", will be using scrypt function only, me thinks!
