Cryptsy https://www.cryptsy.com/users/register?refid=119767hey what exchanges are you guys currently on? I did the google search but couldn't find anything.
this was probably the 4th or 5th crypto I ever heard of and I wanted to buy some for a couple months now.
Is there a paper wallet out for MRY? It could be cool if you could get some donations and load up a bunch of wallets with 50 MRY apiece on them to give out to people with explanation how to access their coins.

Bholzer said he is working on it & hopes to have it finished in time for my meetup.

0.9.2 Source and Mac OS X wallet will be released this weekend. At that point, I will further explain this significant update, the rapidly approaching fork at block 130,000, and the PoW algorithm change that will happen on July 4th. Just to clear up any lingering rumors/etc... Murraycoin will not be incorporating PoS features at this time. Some other general updates will be included in the post once everything is (finally) ready for release. Also, the paper wallet generator is complete and will be added to murraycoin.org this weekend along with the remainder of the updates. We still intend to create and sell aluminum "paper" wallets at murraycoin.org but the aforementioned paper wallet generator will be for use by the general public. We have merchandise ready to start rolling out once all of the technical aspects have been covered and we're smooth-sailing on the new fork. It has been 5 months since launch and, despite things not happening as quickly as we'd all hoped, they're finally coming together. Appreciate the continued support and community effort. brianbbad has gone above and beyond the call of duty and deserves an individual shout-out - he really kept things interesting during this slow period. I can already feel the momentum building around Murraycoin and we're just getting started. Don't call it a comeback, we been here for years months

I can already feel the momentum building around Murraycoin and we're just getting started. Don't call it a comeback, we been here for years months Aluminum "paper" wallets sound badass! Let's just keeping on rockin' with the Murraycoin. So many other threads out there are 4-5 times longer than this one and if you look through them more than half of the posts are either a) posts about simple things like the wallet not working, b) people pointing out obvious scam tactics in either the pre-mine, instamine, pos formula, etc or c) people simply complaining about the price or the absent dev. Bholzer has done a great job, tested everything, solved problems and given us hope. In a crypto world where there is a new fad and each new coin promises the moon to get people to buy in.....Murraycoin keeps pushing forward. How can a coin be introduced, put on an exchange and be "the next big thing" within days and weeks of it's launch? The world just doesn't work that way. No company opens up and is immediately a leader in it's industry. It takes time, trust and a good product to gain momentum to step up to that level. I feel that we have that here. We have had our naysayers along the way. The people looking to cash in huge and upset when they didn't. What I say to them? I'm glad you hopped off the train. In an age where most all other long standing coins are losing value, MRY has held tight now for weeks. We waited out the Cryptsy voting, we sat idle watching scam coin after scam pay their way on exchanges. Murraycoin has stood tough. With a new paper wallet, an aluminum wallet and a project that includes Octocoin in the works ( https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=504265.msg7155954#msg7155954) I am excited about the Murray future. I am looking forward to the day when the Murraycoin price starts to rise on the exchanges and the naysayers and get-rich quick traders look over and see a long standing, tight knit community without the drama, without the gigantic pre-mine, without a scammy IPO, without 25% of the coins going to "bounties" and I hope they think....wow I should have gotten in on that when it was cheap. I know I am not the most vocal here on the boards, but I'm feeling patriotic...or should I say...Murraytriotic this morning. Happy Father's Day to all the dads out there. Eat, Drink and be Murray everyone!

Big shout out to syncsam for being a super generous crypto-homie! I actually stumbled onto this community a month ago thinking it was a joke, but after reading what you (The community) had to say, all the hard work that has been put in and the charity aspects (with major potential charity growth), I think its worth investing in, Big ups to this community P.S some more pics of murraygirl would never go a miss

I take it that this should stop big multi pools mining then dumping the coin? Which I see as a good thing

I take it that this should stop big multi pools mining then dumping the coin? Which I see as a good thing Correct, yes. The new difficulty adjustment formula will help as well since it adjusts after every block. Another bonus is that the block reward recently dropped from 75 MRY -> 60 MRY limiting the multipool impact slightly. While the next reward reduction doesn't come for a year, I believe the new adjustments will smooth everything out for us. While I've likely taken advantage of the Murraycoin multipool dumps more than anybody... almost all aspects of multipools are negative in the big picture of cryptocurrency and the more we can limit their benefits the better. The official Murraycoin 0.9.2 release is imminent - it should be posted shortly. I will create a checklist of services utilizing Murraycoin and check them off as they confirm upgrading to the latest code. Obviously we're a bit behind schedule on this release and, with the fork hitting at block 130,000, we will need to fast-track the switch and ensure everybody is switched over before the end of the week. I do not foresee any issues even in this short period of time - we have a very efficient community.

The holdup at this point is literally the last thing I expected as a snag; Murraycoin-Qt on OS X is not interacting properly with the OS. This was a known issue in Bitcoin Core 0.9 but was fixed in 0.9.1; Murraycoin is built on top of Bitcoin Core 0.9.2 and contains all of the same fixes so some of the custom upgrades we have implemented are surely at fault. If push comes to shove and I don't have this resolved by EOD, I will release Murraycoin-Qt as-is for OS X just to ensure we get things rolling with the fork. However, it will need to be updated as soon as I figure out the issue and get the updated version released. It works... but it's just a touch glitchy when restoring/etc and I would obviously prefer a flawless release.
Regardless, I just wanted to confirm that Murraycoin-Qt for OS X will be 64-bit only and require OS X 10.7 or later. I had a separate branch I developed specifically for a 32-bit OS X (10.5+) version but there were just too many limitations. If this will affect you, please let me know and I will figure out a way to get Murraycoin-Qt running on your machine. Bitcoin Core 0.9+ dropped support for OS X < 10.6 and some of the new Murraycoin features forced us to bump that requirement up even further, unfortunately.
I know you've been hearing it for a while but we're just about there - appreciate your patience.
