I dont know why they shut site down at first, They did not shut the server off completely, so they had it's payments,
I dont know how they decreased their costs !!
Cost were not the problem.
The problem was :
The owner is alone and handle everything on the exchange. He don't want to have to trust someone with user's money.
When the exchange grew big, he couldn't handle support and dev at the same time, so it shut it down.
Now he coded a custom wallet system, so it shouldn't crash like the official clients.
And he will update the terms and conditions. The main point of the new T&C will be that you'll have to pay a fee if you forgot your login credentials.
It's because the owner don't spend a lot of time answering those email.
If you're not able to remember and securise your password and your 2FA token, mcxNOW is probably not for you.
