At this rate I think I'm going to get to 50btc by next week.  When I do get there I think I'll create a truly massive 1hr round with it... I'll get 15btc and a lucky winner will get >15btc in jackpots. 1F9L3FKXDKF1dXmAFAySQopgVy6G46QfVa is the pledges address for that.  Send the amount you are willing to play, except in satoshis. If you pledge please make sure you pm me!

I'm going all-in.

Just before Bitcoinduit was terminated, I lost the majority of my BTC in a ponzi that I really expected to win.  All I have left is about 0.5 BTC invested in BTCOnTilt (Which I will gamble away), plus a little over 0.14 in my wallet.

So, I think I'm done with Bitcoins.  I'm going to stop mining (My GeForce 460 only pulled 60 MH/s anyways), and I'm throwing my last few bitpennies into this final ponzi, Sohcahtoa's ALL IN.  Every time I get paid, I guarantee I will re-invest 0.1 BTC of the winnings.  After the ponzi ends, I will split whatever money I have left equally between the second to last person to deposit and the first unpaid deposit.  For example, if persons A, B, and C got paid, D, E, F, and G didn't, and H got the jackpot, then I will split the money between D and G.

Remember, I'm only re-investing 0.1 BTC each time I get paid, and the ROI is 25%.  That means that this second jackpot will grow by 0.025 BTC each time I get paid.

Time for me to pay out!
I got paid back three times, once for 0.1854012, and twice for 0.125.  Subtract out my three re-investments totaling 0.3 and I had 0.06854012 total.  I earned another payment from my mining for 0.10175973, plus the payment for the remaining pot and fees totaling 0.40545705.  Add the three together and the bonus jackpot totals 0.5757569.  Split this in two and each person gets 0.28787845, minus the 0.0005 transaction fee.

Grats to 1P1kXx4T4p1kXLknVojv8pnaHDpaESgh25 and 1MLM1agdzK6Xs7pHLmCLYiRWYxGgdWweBP.  I'm sending the 0.28737845 BTC now.

If you are the guy who pledged 10btc for DAILYMASSIVE2, TEN MORE for massive3, THIRTY-FOUR for massive4, and 100 (!?) for the 50btcanniversary game, speak up!
edit: OK, they're not all the same.  Still please PM me if you pledge.

100?? Thats gotta be a typo or a prank.. I'd kinda like to see it happen tho, be nice to have BTC riches, even if its only for a few minutes.. Let me know if he contacts you, I'll switch bitponzi to a GUI client so i can take a screenshot, lol.

lol there are quite a few people who keep on sending BS pledges... I'd like that to stop.
Either you pm or post in this thread or just don't send the pledge at all, because I want accurate figures!

I think its just going to have to be implemented as a timer that modifies the duration in the database based on a separate table. I have some of it coded, but have to see what the consequences are when duration is shortened half way through a round, I still have to find a couple things that are causing it to misbehave when I do it.

I want to have the new UI complete first, a good portion of the back end code is being replaced in the progress, and I want to have everything running off the same codebase before I try to make changes that could break things.

Nice to see two big rounds going!

Although, I did send 1 BTC to SUNDAYMASSIVE (to 1HiVZcpf1JZUteZn6tSMSoDRxdn7ZPbAtt )a few seconds before it ended, but it never showed up in the round before it expired. Is there any chance I could get that back, or is that just the risk that I took trying to snipe? :)

runlinux, did your ponzibot just win the 13btc jackpot? Cheesy
edit: Announcement: DAILYMASSIVE5.
This one will be a small one since so many people lost relatively large amounts in my last two daily massives.  I'll start it off with 6 and see what happens.  If anyone wants to help feel free but the risk is on me today.
8PM EST as always; send pledges to 1859cf2kxmzwKz4HZHnfmgjNPdr57pozm3.

Pretty much a risk of trying to snipe, but I'm offering everyone a one-time refund... Let me know where you want it.

Also, whats the point of sniping a round without fixed expiration? It just resets the clock...

Aw, you're the greatest! I'll definitely be more careful next time. :) Please send it to 1NovRdna2RP6MjTWzLnfeasCRtXcJ8ixb7

I like to wait until the last moment just in case somebody else was planning on throwing their bitcoin in and extending the round; that way they risk their money and not me.

Sounds like a classic case of the Volunteer's Dilemma.  A similar thing happens in penny auction sites.

Hi everyone, next daily massive is up!
Cory if you could get in for 3 again that'd be great Tongue

edit: Also, to ensure my own financial security, I am sniping with a 10btc reserve, because I screwed up the order of the deposits.  My loss, your gain!

Hi everyone, came up with a better way to pledge!
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/gform?key=0AoL2wG1YZ3wddE5uYnlrUjh3ek81Sk1NX2kwbTVkYmc&hl=en_US&gridId=0
Pledge however much you want.
By pledging here you agree to invest in the event of a 20btc initial deposit, and you also agree to coordinate the launch with me.
The form will figure out how much I should put in initially.  If the initial deposit is less than 7btc, I won't go ahead with the game.  However if there are enough pledges, it will happen at 8PM EST (GMT-5).
