Am I missing something? |

It seems to be a pure PoW. You may watch this thread https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1373100.0 which seems to have more activity. To mine through the wallet you have to activate mining and add nodes, here is a copy of my post on the other thread: There's a lot of interest going on now on Bella coin,on the nodes mention I have added the nodes one by one but still nothing happen my wallet cannot and will not sync at all I plan to purchase Bellacoin seeing that it has a lot of good potential..
I use the windows wallet, I added nodes, it took sometime but it synched. You can also use Help -> Debug window -> Console (from the wallet) to activate mining by typing and you can add nodes by typing When I launch it with the generate option it uses up almost all my cpu (which is normal because it is mining), however I have no logs so I don't really know what it is doing. I never kept it overnight or for a long period to see if it mines something ... (ie I have no proof that the wallet miner works). You will also have Host srv.bellacoin.com not found
because the wallet is not up-to-date. |

You have to choose a scrypt rig and the speed you want. The minimum amount renting time is 3 hours. İ dont know how much speed you need.. İ rented 350 mh i think it was too much  Dont know exactly how much hashing power you need to move the bella blockckain effectively.. İn my case all stucked transactions got through in 5 minutes. So less would be enough i think. then you have to go to https://prohashing.com/explorer/Bellacoin/, the only active pool for bella. Make an account. How to mine prohashing.com:3333, password "c=Bellacoin" put this in the pool options of the rented rig. so: stratum: prohashing.com:3333 username: (the one you chosse at prohashing no worker name or somethimg) password: c=Bellacoin depending on the hashing power it should work very fast. And let your wallet open so you can see live that everthing works |

But in btc value i got my money back (renting fees) and my transaction went to poloniex so it was a good deal for me |

Does this mean Belas were directly credited on your poloniex address? I mean if you had to withdraw Belas, then somebody must have had to keep mining for the transaction to be confirmed ... |

As i said i was the one mining to move the blockchain:) So i mined to get my transaction confirmed. İt was done in 5 or 10 minutes but i rented high hashing power maybe thats why it was confirmed so fast. Do you have any unconfirmed tx ? |
