Considering the fact that due to suspicious airdrops, inexperienced beginners fall into the hands of scammers, I decided to create a sheet of SCAM-Airdrops. This list will be updated on a regular basis and briefly explain the method of fraud.

Scam-list - https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/14pnXuZJjjXy8Ug43XA31891Qm8_g2q-BtRnftQes-bU/edit#gid=0

In order to make this list bigger, You are welcome to post in this thread Airdrops which seem suspicious. I'll look through them and add to my list.

P.S. Any kind of valid criticism and suggestions are welcomed Smiley

Great. It's crazy how people fall for airdrops that ask for their private key though; and I definitely don't get how people fall for it and I'm extremely baffled. It's like accepting relief goods/donations but the donators are asking for your bank credentials before giving you the goods. LOL

Some telegram bot scammers are also emerging from telegram groups and channels. They use an running ICO that is not theirs to make peoples believe that this ICO also runs airdrop in the form of a telegram bot. So, i hope anyone is more careful about that.

Yeah it's funny, but at the same time it's so sad that people so easily let themselves be deceived

Good idea. If you want to continue the list, maybe add some more information. At least add a date, either when an entry was added or when the airdrop took place/will take place.

Nice one! keep it going..

I heard some scams are so perfected they even have a real front with paid people to 'act' like they are a business... it's crazy indeed.

Sure I'm planning to continue it, finding the exact data could be quite hard. However, I've got something another to add, now you're able to see the link to both, the scam-airdrop and the link to the original source of project if they have one. Guess it will clarify for users which addresses and telegram channels/bots should be omitted.

Maybe you should even add some kind of pooling system to to vote on new additions to the list. If you are interested I could help you with making of forms, so anyone could suggest their additions, but just after reviewing it could be added in to list.
Feel free to contact me!

This will be very useful. Because a lot of newcomers waste their time by doing scam airdrops. I hope everyone will support this spreadsheet to up to date.  I believe seniors will help to avoid scams. I suggest adding if some bounty group promoting such a scam thing, please add the column to mention them as scam promoters.

Oh, are there so many airdrops that are frauds? This sounds terrible. So I chose not to participate in airdrops. I wanted to do some useful work and get rewarded.

Just what I was about to write. Also, a list of trusted sites for airdrops and what I would need in order to get them is excellent to have.

Hey man it would really help newbie members on adding into your OP on "How to Spot Scam Airdrops" as a guide for them in order to avoid this Airdrops. Also it would serve as a guideline for people who are willing to help you detect this fake airdrops. I don't have a wide knowledge about this airdrops but I do know some airdrops also require some sort of donation before you will receive the token.

Awesome work, I won't lie i do participate in some Airdrops, but the amount of blatant scams popping up and the 'ETH giveaways' all over Twitter etc, are going to have a real negative effect on Cryptocurrency across the board.

Kudos to you for making this spreadsheet and protecting newbies from the sharks!
