What is it that gives long term value to a coin?

GOOD INITIAL DISTRIBUTION VS BAD INITIAL DISTRIBUTION
MINE VS PRE MINE
INNOVATIVE COIN VS CLONE COINS

Give every man on earth 1 MAX COIN and they will flow all back in the smart ones pocket.

Considering this coin will be CPU-only at launch, are you not worried about botnets having a high % of hashing power compared to the "average" miner?

With scrypt variants this is less of an issue, with coins that have CPU mining only the reward for mining for the average Joe is very limited.

With CPU mined coins like this one, are these botnets (trojan-like viruses that use your CPU without you knowing) probably spring up and mine this too?

BTW, MaxCoin will be traded soon on Coins-E (https://www.coins-e.com/?ref=6397483995365376)

Will there be a P2Pool implemenation of the SHA-3, or any Keccak python module available at launch?

Is it possible to mine with GPU?

not right at the start, once the coin has launched then a gpu miner can be created.

Can someone post some links on how to create a botnet so I can get in on this. I have Kali Linux and I can probably get a Cantenna to work so I can steal Wi-Fi.

Honestly, I really give up on all of these coins. It's all pretty much a waste of electricity unless you are a criminal. I honestly don't see how making botnet operators rich benefits society.

I will try to mine it though... maybe I can get in on the first 15 seconds and turn a profit.

Cry much? Seriously if you want to know how to do something immoral google it. I have 7 computers in my house which will all be mining day 1. Shame I don't have my server anymore though.

Let me guess....... Nope! If there was, however, I'm willing to set up a node so pm me if you modify it.

Keiser supports crime with new coin release. Love it.

Criminal botnets love you now Max.

You need to fire the consultants for this coin.

I like the idea, but there really needs to be made a GPU miner before release, otherwise the Botnets will take over, like they did with all the other CPU-only coins.
