If Al Gore is so convinced about the dangers of rising sea levels in the next decade and what carbon levels in the atmosphere will do to the climate, why did he buy a $9 million dollar ocean front villa and sell Current TV to the Petro sheikhs in the Gulf when he had plenty of non-oil burning business interests at home? I won't speak to the science of global warming but the guy is clearly a con artist. Cognitive dissonance? Hypocrisy? all I said was 'climate scam' and look what happened.  btw, the temperature has not changed over the last 17 years according to the data used by the IPCC who have also been found to write the summary for policy prior to receiving the climate report. it's very easy to fall into the trap of believing certain industries are behind 'man made' climate change denial, it seems logical but the scandal runs much deeper than that, there are 10s of thousands of jobs at stake and a whole lot more money to be lost if it's squashed. |
