This will be great!  Grin

It's cool that we will see the three phases of Bitcoin speeded up with this one.
People moan about botnets but coins like quark and frozen get along quite happily.
Then, pretty soon after launch we will see cgminer kick in.
Next, we will see an FPGA quickly followed by ASIC phase.

I don't see what the problem is!  Grin

That's a good idea, and keeps it more simple for newbies like myself Smiley

Wallet and miner all in one.

Just practice with a coin like Frozen and then maybe LeadCoin before launch.
USB miners will be a while but get yourself a minepeon raspberry PI rig and have a play with that.

It is fair that people who have messed around with command lines and conf files for a while get a head start!  Cheesy

Wallet and miner all in one.

You do realise that is exactly what they are doing. The miner will be integrated with the wallet GUI. I'd like to think they are savvy enough to acknowledge the risk to botnets...

Do not release separate miner at first, only the wallets. Hard to run the wallet on an infected PC without the user realizing. Problem solved?

Wallet mining = mining for hours with zero results for everybody except those with top level Xeon and overclocked i7 CPUs.

Wallet mining = unfair!

Not true, my older core2duos do find blocks once in a while. But yes, overclocked i7 4770K is the master.

just another altcoin   Huh

Not necessarily, this will be an alt-coin which;

a) Claims to be Sha-256 ASIC and proposed Scrypt-ASIC resistant. Meaning initally CPU with GPU potential.
It's not asic-resistant. Of course you can't mine with other asics.. duh! same goes for any coin that uses anything different from sha256 or scrypt. But SHA3= FAIL!  botnets will own it, and if it ever becomes popular, asics will rape gpus and cpus.

Max Keiser is putting his reputation on the line with this one
Lol.. I think his "reputation" won't change a bit

Will the wallet be with inbuilt miner? If so, how will we receive the coins after we mine them ?

The coins are mined directly to your wallet.

Has there been any mention of anti-ASIC features in this version of SHA-3? I ask because SHA-3 is specifically designed to be fast when implemented in hardware (that is one of the reasons NIST chose it) and ASIC hardware for SHA-3 has existed for at least 3 or 4 years which could mean this coin will get hammered with ASIC right out of the gate.

Or maybe it's intentionally designed to be like bitcoin and this is what they want, I don't know.

i thought the price market was . based on BTC/USD capitalizacion .. so if from the begining start with 1 millon of coins premined.. the price will be high?  this have no sense..

There is no pre-mine,  as it is explicitly stated. Where did you get the idea that there was a 1 million coin pre-mine?
