cgminer 3.6.6 with keccak mode is very instable, I'm getting continuous crashes. Are you guys?
Yup full time job just keeping it running, not worth it for me... oh well the coins only got a day or two of life left in it anyway ;P |

Yup full time job just keeping it running, not worth it for me... oh well the coins only got a day or two of life left in it anyway ;P might be a good idea to use the tip earlier with having an bat script that reboots cgminer each x time. For example each half hour, then you won't have downtime during night. |

Is it possible to use cgwatcher with this modified Cgminer? Can't one set that to auto restart every X hours or if hash rates fall below XX? Seems the ideal solution here.

Thank You guys for doing such a good job with your 1gh pools, but i´m still having issues with Maxcoin. The new cgminer crashes even more often than the old one, no matter what settings i use, sometimes after minutes.
Another problem is that for my CPU-Rig with 2*E5 2687 i can hardly find any shares with minerd. i seems that VARDIFF doesnt kick in for some reasons.
I´m using a different address for the CPU Rig. Is there a way to set the difficulty manualy ?

I am currently implementing the Maxcoin algorithm on cgminer 3.7 codebase, this should solve the crashes issue. The background here is that I have initially forked and fixed the version Maxcoin project has put on their github, but that one was 3.6-based, and 3.6 is prone to crashes and does not perform as well. Anybody can get lucky once.  Now get another block in 5h... At 50000 difficultly you should average one block every 11 days. Or possibly every 5.5 days, the traditional calculations seem off by a factor of 2 compared to real life, who knows. (although I do admit I got lucky a couple times too when my hash rate was only like 20m)... over time not so lucky though  |

I have version 3.6.6, it wont work for solo though, keep getting json inval error, only seems to work for 1gh

Please give settings Nice - but I believe cgminer for windows 3.6.6 will not solomine I leave cgminer running for days and have never seen it crash. You guys using something other than Linux? We using win version. ya and the loop in the bat won't work for me either because my system puts up a message box - is there a way to put an @enter key out of the bat file? |

This is this old cgminer version which was possible to download before max start together with cpuminer, now its tweaked and able to work for solo mining.
Its NOT 1gh version.

I dont know if there is version compiled for windows avaiable, I've made it from source on linux.
Come on, I just used this on 1 small card to test it, we all have better rigs and dont want to get raped by pools.
SOLO mining ftw! :-D
