Bitcoin mining is now a specialized and very risky industry, just like gold mining. Amateur miners are unlikely to make much money, and may even lose money. Bitcoin is much more than just mining, though!

What an amazing idea!  This is the first step towards mass adoption in crypto currency!  I couldn't imagine my bank statement without any reference lines, surprising that no one has thought of this sooner, good luck and count me in!
