Some Tried to PayPal scam me
i am new
so when paypal sent me email about reversal i sent an email to paypal saying it was for a digital file and the proof of purchase was the email i sen to client.
i sent an email to the email paid to me on paypal with a photograph and thank them for the purchase.
Will send copy to paypal if needed
will this be enough to cancel the dispute ?

PayPal are very unlikely to find in your favour unfortunately (hence why a lot of people don't like to use PayPal). Good luck though  |

Paypal states clearly in their user agreement that they do not provide seller protection for digital goods.
11.3 Eligibility Requirements.
To be eligible for PayPal Seller protection, you must meet all of the basic requirements listed below under (a) Basic Requirements. To be covered for Item Not Received protection, you must meet both the Basic Requirements and the Item Not Received Additional Requirements listed below under (b). To be covered for Unauthorized Transaction protection, you must meet both the Basic Requirements and the Unauthorized Transactions Additional Requirements listed below under (c).
Basic Requirements:
You must ship the item to the shipping address on the Transaction Details Page.
You must respond to PayPal's requests for documentation and other information in a timely manner.
The item must be a physical, tangible good that can be shipped.
Your primary residence, as listed in your Account, must be in the United States.

Yes do be very careful of paypal that is why I do not keep much money in my paypal account they can freeze your account when they want. |

Paypal is dreadful at virtual goods, even if they send it as a gift you can lose out. Skrill works well for virtual goods from my experience.

Wow, really? Did you provide proof of postage? Didn't you get scammed by Trickett on eBay too? I bought the item, but the seller tried to claim it was a digital item, even though it was physically delivered. PayPal said since the balance of the paper wallet is digital, that they were not going to cover it. So beware. |

Wow, really? Did you provide proof of postage? Didn't you get scammed by Trickett on eBay too? I bought the item, but the seller tried to claim it was a digital item, even though it was physically delivered. PayPal said since the balance of the paper wallet is digital, that they were not going to cover it. So beware. I haven't been scammed by anyone. How did you get scammed on something? You bought a paper wallet with nothing on it? |

hardly any chance - even if reversal was due to undelivered item (because if it was due to unauthorized use of account you can forget it) there is virtually no chance that they will take your side paypal should never be used when dealing with bitcoins - my lesson cost me a bit over €500  |

You have to buy something solid, if you buy from a seller that states your are buying say a photo image of a wallet and get free coins in the transaction then your covered.

Reading between the lines, are you saying that a buyer is pretty safe buying (say) Bitcoins on ebay and paying through PayPal?
I get the thread that the seller is not protected very well if a BUYER trys a scam, but it sounds like a BUYER has some recourse.
Any comments from any experienced people?

Reading between the lines, are you saying that a buyer is pretty safe buying (say) Bitcoins on ebay and paying through PayPal?
I get the thread that the seller is not protected very well if a BUYER trys a scam, but it sounds like a BUYER has some recourse.
Any comments from any experienced people?
It's perfectly fine and safe for buyers, just not sellers. That's why scammers use it. |

I would not go as far to say its "perfectly fine for buyers". Like I said above, I was scammed on the buying end, and as soon as PayPal heard mention of the balance of the paper wallet being in question, they did not want to deal with the case. Nothing with PayPal is 100%, for selling or buying |

The seller was a real dirt bag. I think the only reason I was eventually successful with my second cc charge back is because he had scammed a bunch of people So he had a red flag on his account. So I'm just saying beware when using PayPal for buying or selling. |

But yeah, people are deceptive and will do what they can to scam. Shame. |
