Hi, is there any [planned] future support for share difficulty that is greater than 32?
Yes, diff-1 shares support will be removed, and diff-64 shares support will be added.

Other announces:

  • Two-Step authentification support is coming soon, testing now. Smiley
  • English faq writing is in progress

Reward in RSMPPS ~ 0.11174488 BTC.

I see that information on my index page. I don't understand "Reward in RSMPPS" is. When does it get paid? After 3 days, my balance is just 0.02 BTC, 10 times lower than what I expect (based on my 50BTC reward for more than 27k shares)

I am a little bit innocent in this pool.

It was explained few pages before:

Pool is working and accepting shares, but stats are dead showing 0 khash/s for some minutes now.
Wonder if this zeroes rewards as well or just not showing on the page.

edit: it's about LTC pool.

LTC pool stats daemon crashed tonight, I restarted it 3 hours later and fixed the bug. Rewards for this period will be recalculated soon.

The approximately 8 Avalon on your pool are itching to do shares at 64+ difficulty. Wink

Edit: I noticed some of the units are using diff-1...that must drive up net traffic like crazy.

Have you considered implementing dynamic share difficulty support targeting a specific hash/minute goal. I doubt enough people in the pool have taken the time and effort to determine the share difficulty they should be using. As it is often said "Beware the tyranny of the default."

I thought about "Auto" option in the list, which will automatically set difficulty from 2 to 128, trying to target 3 shares/minute. Roll Eyes

P.S. Yes, diff-128 option also will be added.

You know most other pools are going for ~ 20 shares per minute for their dynamic vardiff. Not saying that 3 spm is bad, but you might want to explain why you decided on 3 spm to help miners make the decision to mine here.

@Balthazar

please have a look at this cgminer log on your ltcmine.ru pool. It uses adaptive diff, but the result is really strange and imho not as it should be.

I've pointed a 2MH/s GPU rig to your pool.

I've edited the log so it shows only the shares with a new diff.

As you can see, required share diff oscillates between 128 and 478!

I less than 20 minutes there are 66 difficulty changes!!!

Difficulty retarget interval is 100s. That was good with 16 as startup difficulty, but it's ridiculous with 128. I'll increase it to 300-600s soon.

Anyway, this shouldn't affect your rewards.

You meant "i[n] less than one hour 20 minutes" rather than just 20 minutes, right?

Tried your pool for a couple days, lured in by the zero fee and transaction sharing, but I only earned less than a fourth of PPS. How long does it take to "charge up" RSMPPS so that it approximates PPS? In other words, how long would I need to stick with the pool before I was seeing normal earnings?

Edit:  Good thing I stayed - I solved a block this morning. Yea!

removing diff 1 sucks for me, why not keep the option for people with low hash rate
