Many government are seeing Bitcoin or cryptocurrency as a threat to their financial system and they think it should be regulated to solve the problem. Do you think they can regulate Bitcoin ?
I don't see any threats to financial system, they just not wanting crypto cause they can't any from it. Crypto regulation might be good for us to lessen the number of scammers and guided the community accordingly to find good investment. As cryptocurrency getting known worldwide, it is also important but it really takes years to be finalized as rules and policies might not conflicted to others.

It should be possible. When the government seriously responds to issues surrounding cryptocurrency then the government can do so. bitcoin regulation is necessary because then Bitcoin and cryptocurrency can develop better. Besides that it will also make the market crypto stability. There will be no major manipulation that can affect the price, it's all because everything related to crypto has been regulated by a regulation that has been agreed upon by all.
I agree on this, but my thoughts are keeps on thinking if this will already in cryptocurrency what would happen in the most traders and the crypto will be less volatile. I think it is bad for bitcoins to be regulated, although having it both advantages and disadvantages but it seems to me that if it will regulated we are no longer free or no one controls bitcoins it was controlled by regulations.

Well, its not possible because before the government will legalized the bitcoin to their country they should regulate it first so that the people in their country should follow it and to avoid chaos in economics. But for sure, the government will study it well before they make a regulation about it. I can not tell if once the bitcoin or cryptocurrency will regulated it will be okay because I know their are people or bitcoin users who are gainst for it for some personal reasons. Because we knew that its hard to regulate bitcoin and its hard to predict when it comes to his price volatility.

indeed lately the government often talk about bitcoin, especially the technology behind the crypto, namely blockchain. but I am not that fast the government will regulate bitcoin. because if they end up using blockchain technology in their banking system, that does not mean they accept bitcoin as the official currency and provide regulation.

They can't regulate Bitcoin just like they can't regulate torrenting stealing software and movies because it's peer to peer. They can however regulate the way in which we access Bitcoin, which has already been happening to exchanges and they probably will regulate further to protect consumers from scams and frauds which are using Bitcoin to try and be anonymous.

As long as bitcoin's still considered illegal by most officials, who are working in the country's department. Of course, during that time bitcoin cannot be governed by the government, the government seems to turn a blind eye and ignore the developments that occur, they tend to want to destroy bitcoin in various ways, ranging from tight regulations to spreading FUD.

I think,if only one government it can't regulate the bitcoin. Because, they can't really control it in internet functions all over the world. It can happen only to regulate bitcoin,if all governments entire world be collaborated with each countries.

They can not manage Bitcoin completely because the way the Bitcoin system works is decentralized.
So that Bitcoin users will be in complete control of their Bitcoin.
I think Bitcoin can be set by the government and will only be a small part.

The government can manage everything except bitcoins. Bitcoin is not an asset or an object, there is nothing they can do except provide tax rules for exchange.
Bitcoin is part of the internet, as long as the government still gives people access to the internet, people can still use bitcoin.

Yes, also holder / owner of bitcoin is still really hard to trace right now so I think bitcoin will not go under regulations. But everything is possible in the internet most specially with those high technology other countries already have.

If peoples who have bitcoins and cryptocurrencies accept the KYC then it will mean that governments will have won.
I don't think so. Bitcoin is a decentralized crypto currency. Therefore, government can not regulate it properly. Rather government can ensure the smooth transactions through bitcoin for development of economy. Government can create policies, guidelines and instructions only, bitcoin will run in its own pace and own way due to its decentralized nature. Point to focus here is more innovation and coding system development for bitcoin.

Bitcoin is already regulated in countries where you can have and use bitcoins. At least, exchanges will have to follow KYC and AML procedures. They have more opportunities than the people. BUT, the main advantage of bitcoin is still decentralization, and if this is so, then the world will change to a better side for us. It's hard to believe, but ... Wink

It's good to hear and I think many people already waiting for the government to regulate the use of crypto in the country because i believe with the move to regulate crypto many people are encourage to invest that really help crypto market grow.

From my opinion many government thinks of bitcoin as a threat but bitcoin can never be regulated by them. Because government cannot regulate blockchain technology.

If this happens so, I think, btc might loss the feature of decentralization. But since so many issues are going on that is unexpected, I think btc should go under regulation.

Maybe bitcoin will go under regulations. It is much better to undergo with those regulations to give some rules and law that needs to follow. It will also help to eliminate the  SCAM ICO.

The only way to "regulate" bitcoin so that it will not be able to affect the economic situation is to completely prohibit any kind of business with it. Otherwise, it will break the present system.

Predictably, bitcoin will surely receive supervision, and a moderate regulation is conducive to the development of encrypted communities, which can make the environment of the community more healthy.
