i dont think bitcoin can directly be regulated unless the government may have their own version of altcoin wherein there will be a rule to convert other cryptos to that specific altcoin before conversion into monetary value but it would be very hard to achieve since cryptos started only as a form of merit and not an actual currency.

Many government are seeing Bitcoin or cryptocurrency as a threat to their financial system and they think it should be regulated to solve the problem. Do you think they can regulate Bitcoin ?
They can only regulate it if you are going to use a third party platform to transfer your funds, but it is still hard to implement because every transaction is not always a local transaction sometimes it is an offshore transaction that is why you cannot fully implement regulation in bitcoin.

Bitcoin will have to be regulated if it wants to gain more recognition in various countries because there is no government without rules and regulations for its economy, definitely if bitcoin wants to gain prominence it will be regulated.

Governments find it difficult to regulate Bitcoin. Obviously, cryptocurrency has been an indispensable trend in the evolution of monetary as well as information science. Practices always go before the rules.

Slow, steady, reassuring growth. Let’s hope it continues like this for a while. Makes a nice case that the bottom has already occurred.

From my own perspective bitcoin decentralizes control of money and therefore it will require a lot less regulation. So the question is what is necessary in terms of regulation of bitcoin and I find it ironic that the regulators who failed to control the great market of cryptocurrencies and then failed again to control all the market are now so interested in regulating cryptocurrency. Other question is do we need to regulate bitcoin in order to wipen out these competition against the banks or should we be regulating the banks and forsay them to compulsory licensing to support bitcoin, and for the first time in history provide competitive disruption to the banking industry.

indeed in other countries it limits the development of bitcoin, but the attitude and actions of the government in such a case can eliminate or prohibit the development of bitcoin, but it is not easy to overcome, because since the development of bitcoin, many people in the world feel the pattern of economic growth, of course if the government prohibits bitcoin, the community will do things that are not desirable, because in the sense of bitcoin is far better than the banking system in that country.

I am not sure in a country that will control it, because it is difficult to give taxes other than when we exchange them for fiat money. global rules also cannot. and also I think when you are taxed you don't report and pay for it

That is a very delicate question that is making a lot of government not to buy into the ideas of bitcoin. They will loose the control over the bitcoin as compared to national currencies and this might affect their economies but we all know that the crypto will create  a conducive atmosphere for all. For now we can not tell but hope and see what time could tell.

If mining is regulated already in several countries, why cannot we admit that Bitcoin can go under certain regulations? Maybe it will not happen very soon only.

I feel btc has to go under regulation because of its vulnerability and also volatility. The more regulated it is the more chance of btc will be used as a virtual currency all over the globe. Presently kyc has become mandatory for coins purchase and all wherever ico are happening. We will see the power of btc in the coming days considering its liquidity as well.

this is a very difficult thing to happen because the government itself is still difficult in legalizing crypto, because as we know the government still cannot take tax from BTC ownership or foreign transactions and so on. so we can only wait for the future what will happen

umm personally i dont think this will solve the problem permanently because cryptocurrency is the only currency in the world which develops itself with the developing technology and regulations put on them for trading . so it will take some time to bitcoin for developing itself according to the regulations which are put by the government but after some time again bitcoin will rise in the market as valuable as before.

It is not possible that bitcoin will go under regulation. Because of the popularity of bitcoin government try to control cryptocurrency. At first, many countries banned bitcoin but they can not stop bitcoin because bitcoin has own transaction system. So now the government try to set bitcoin under regulation. But it is completely not possible. The government can set some rules and tax on bitcoin.

I think the government can't regulate bitcoin. because the digital currency can move very fast and big. so in my opinion it is very unlikely the government will regulate this.

I think every country can change and manage the system including the internet and its network such as the example of catching criminals between countries that can be captured in another country from a collaboration including bitcoin can be arranged and currency in a local bank including cooperation between parties other.
